The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ I am about to bring punishment on Amon god of Thebes, on Pharaoh, on Egypt and her gods and her kings, and on those who rely on Pharaoh.

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ I am about to punish Amon, the god of Thebes. I will also punish Pharaoh. I will punish Egypt and its gods and kings. And I will punish those who depend on Pharaoh.

The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, said:“ Behold, I am bringing punishment upon Amon of Thebes, and Pharaoh and Egypt and her gods and her kings, upon Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ I will punish Amon, the god of Thebes, and all the other gods of Egypt. I will punish its rulers and Pharaoh, too, and all who trust in him.

The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says,“ I am about to punish Amon, god of Thebes, along with Pharaoh, Egypt, her gods, and her kings— Pharaoh and those trusting in him.

耶和華必向他們顯為可畏，因他使地上的眾神衰微；列國的海島各在自己的地方敬拜他。

因為那夜我要走遍埃及地，把埃及地一切頭生的，無論是人是牲畜，都擊殺了；我要對埃及所有的神明施行審判。我是耶和華。

以色列人必驚惶羞愧，因為他們仰望古實，以埃及為榮。「那時，沿海一帶的居民必說：『看哪，我們素來所仰望的，就是為躲避亞述王所逃往求救的，不過如此！我們怎能逃脫呢？』」

說：『我們不留在這地，卻要進入埃及地，在那裏我們看不見戰爭，聽不見角聲，也不致缺食挨餓；我們要住在那裏。』倖存的猶大人哪，你們現在要聽耶和華的話；萬軍之耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：『你們若定意進入埃及，在那裏寄居，你們所懼怕的刀劍在埃及地必追上你們，你們所懼怕的饑荒在埃及要緊緊跟隨你們，你們必死在那裏。

你能勝過挪亞們嗎？它坐落在眾河之間，周圍有水，海作它的城郭，海作它的城牆。古實和埃及是它的力量，沒有窮盡，弗人和路比人是它的幫手。

我要降火在瑪各和海島安然居住的人身上，他們就知道我是耶和華。「我要在我的子民以色列中彰顯我的聖名，不容我的聖名再被褻瀆，列國就知道我－耶和華是以色列中的聖者。

「我使你在列國，在你所不認識的列邦中滅亡。那時，我必使許多民族的心因你愁煩。當我在他們面前舉起我的刀，我要使許多民族因你驚恐，他們的君王也必因你極其恐慌。在你仆倒的日子，他們各人為自己的性命時時戰兢。主耶和華如此說：巴比倫王的刀必臨到你。我必藉勇士的刀使你的軍隊仆倒；這些勇士都是列國中兇暴的人。他們必使埃及的驕傲歸於無有，埃及的軍隊必被滅絕。

他們沒有尋求我的指示，就起身下埃及去，要倚靠法老的庇護堅固自己，並投在埃及的蔭下。但法老的庇護反成為你們的羞辱；你們投在埃及蔭下，反使你們慚愧。

「主耶和華如此說：我要毀滅偶像，從挪弗除掉神像；不再有君王出自埃及地，我要使埃及地的人懼怕。我必令巴特羅荒涼，在瑣安放火，向挪施行審判。我要將我的憤怒傾倒在訓，埃及的堡壘上，要剪除挪的眾民。我必在埃及放火，訓必大大痛苦，挪被攻破，挪弗終日遭敵侵襲。

論埃及的默示。看哪，耶和華乘駕快雲，臨到埃及；埃及的偶像在他面前戰兢，埃及人的心在裏面消溶。

禍哉！那些下埃及求幫助的，他們仰賴馬匹，倚靠甚多的戰車，並倚靠強壯的騎兵，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，也不求問耶和華。其實，耶和華有智慧，他降災禍，並不撤回自己的話，卻要興起攻擊作惡之家，攻擊那幫助人作惡的。埃及人不過是人，並非上帝，他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈。耶和華一伸手，那幫助人的必絆跌，受幫助的也必跌倒，都一同滅亡。

耶和華如此說：「倚靠人，以血肉為膀臂，心中離棄耶和華的，那人該受詛咒！他必像沙漠裏的矮樹，不見福樂來到；他要住在曠野乾旱之處，無人居住的鹽地。
