For nothing will be impossible with God.”

“ Look, I am the LORD, the God over every creature. Is anything too difficult for me?

Is anything impossible for the LORD? At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.”

I know that you can do anything and no plan of yours can be thwarted.

Jesus looked at them and said,“ With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

For the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and everything in them in six days; then he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and declared it holy.

“ By my great strength and outstretched arm, I made the earth, and the people, and animals on the face of the earth. I give it to anyone I please.

He replied,“ What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.Then God said,“ Let there be light,” and there was light.God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness.God called the light“ day,” and the darkness he called“ night.” There was an evening, and there was a morning: one day.Then God said,“ Let there be an expanse between the waters, separating water from water.”So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above the expanse. He also created every winged creature according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.God blessed them:“ Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the waters of the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.”Evening came and then morning: the fifth day.Then God said,“ Let the earth produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that crawl, and the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so.So God made the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that crawl on the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.Then God said,“ Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.”So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female.God blessed them, and God said to them,“ Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.”God also said,“ Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This will be food for you,for all the wildlife of the earth, for every bird of the sky, and for every creature that crawls on the earth— everything having the breath of life in it— I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.God saw all that he had made, and it was very good indeed. You are to say this to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”He made the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.

I made the earth, and created humans on it. It was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded everything in them.

And: In the beginning, Lord, you established the earth, and the heavens are the works of your hands;they will perish, but you remain. They will all wear out like clothing;you will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like clothing. But you are the same, and your years will never end.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning.All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.

Long ago you established the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

Our Lord and God, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because you have created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.

Look up and see! Who created these? He brings out the stars by number; he calls all of them by name. Because of his great power and strength, not one of them is missing.Jacob, why do you say, and Israel, why do you assert,“ My way is hidden from the LORD, and my claim is ignored by my God”?Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding.

Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one is like me.I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: my plan will take place, and I will do all my will.

In these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son. God has appointed him heir of all things and made the universe through him.The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

You, LORD, are the only God. You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their stars, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them, and all the stars of heaven worship you.

But I protested,“ Oh no, Lord GOD! Look, I don’t know how to speak since I am only a youth.”

Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them. He remains faithful forever,

He made the earth by his power, established the world by his wisdom, and spread out the heavens by his understanding.

This is what God, the LORD, says— who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk on it—

Jacob’s Portion is not like these because he is the one who formed all things. Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the LORD of Armies is his name.

And I replied,“ Oh no, Lord GOD! The prophets are telling them,‘ You won’t see sword or suffer famine. I will certainly give you lasting peace in this place.’”

He made the heavens skillfully. His faithful love endures forever.He spread the land on the waters. His faithful love endures forever.He made the great lights: His faithful love endures forever.the sun to rule by day, His faithful love endures forever.the moon and stars to rule by night. His faithful love endures forever.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.For everything was created by him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities— all things have been created through him and for him.

“ Listen to me, Jacob, and Israel, the one called by me: I am he; I am the first, I am also the last.My own hand founded the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summoned them, they stood up together.

He reveals the deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him.

A pronouncement: The word of the LORD concerning Israel. A declaration of the LORD, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirit of man within him.

While they were killing, I was left alone. And I fell facedown and cried out,“ Oh, Lord GOD! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel when you pour out your wrath on Jerusalem?”

“ People! Why are you doing these things? We are people also, just like you, and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them.

Heaven is my throne, and the earth my footstool. What sort of house will you build for me? says the Lord, or what will be my resting place?Did not my hand make all these things?

Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died. Then I fell facedown and cried out loudly,“ Oh, Lord GOD! You are bringing the remnant of Israel to an end!”

The God who made the world and everything in it— he is Lord of heaven and earth— does not live in shrines made by hands.

This is what the LORD, your Redeemer who formed you from the womb, says: I am the LORD, who made everything; who stretched out the heavens by myself; who alone spread out the earth;

I said,“ Oh no, Lord GOD, you have certainly deceived this people and Jerusalem, by announcing,‘ You will have peace,’ while a sword is at our throats.”

and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things.This is so that God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.This is according to his eternal purpose accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
