耶和華說：「以法蓮不是我的愛子嗎？他不是我喜悅的孩子嗎？我雖然常常責備他，但仍然惦記著他。我深深地想念他，我必憐憫他。

耶和华说：“以法莲是我的爱子吗？是可喜悦的孩子吗？我每逢责备他，仍深顾念他；所以我的心肠恋慕他；我必要怜悯他。

永恆主發神諭說：以法蓮是我的寶貝兒子麼？是個可喜悅的孩子麼？因為我每逢說了話譴責他，我總還是依依懷念着他。我的心腸熱戀着他；我一定要憐憫他。

以法蓮為我之愛子乎、為可悅之子乎、我每言及、則深念之、心為之動、我必矜恤之、耶和華言之矣、○

耶和華曰、以法蓮豈非我之赤子、我所眷愛者哉、予責之、輒生憐念、予矜憫為懷、復加以撫恤。

以法蓮豈非我之愛子、我所悅之赤子乎、我一言之、即顧念之、我心腸為之發矜恤、復加憐憫、此乃主所言、○

Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him,” declares the Lord.

Aren’t the people of Ephraim my dear children? Aren’t they the children I take delight in? I often speak against them. But I still remember them. So my heart longs for them. I love them with a tender love,” announces the Lord.

Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he my darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I do remember him still. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, declares the Lord.

“ Is not Israel still my son, my darling child?” says the Lord.“ I often have to punish him, but I still love him. That’s why I long for him and surely will have mercy on him.

Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, my inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the LORD’s declaration.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a delightful child? Indeed, as often as I have spoken against him, I certainly still remember him; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will certainly have mercy on him,” declares the Lord.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the Lord.

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearneth for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith Jehovah.

[ Is] Ephraim my dear son?[ is he] a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the LORD, affirm it!

Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I still earnestly remember him. therefore my heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him,” says Yahweh.

願邪惡的人停止作惡，不義的人除掉惡念。願他們歸向耶和華，祂必憐憫他們；願他們歸向我們的上帝，祂必仁慈地赦免他們。

求你從天上垂顧，從你聖潔、榮耀的居所垂看。你的熱忱和大能在哪裡呢？難道你不再眷愛、憐憫我們嗎？

耶和華說：「我要醫治他們的叛道，心甘情願地愛他們，因為我的怒氣已經轉離他們。

我的內心為摩押，為吉珥·哈列設哀鳴，好像淒涼的琴聲。

我的良人從門孔伸進手來，我心神為之蕩漾，

因我這兒子是死而復活、失而復得的。』於是他們歡宴慶祝。

以色列人除掉了他們的外邦神像，轉而事奉耶和華。耶和華不忍再看以色列人受苦。

因為主不會永遠撇棄人。主儘管使人憂傷，祂依然憐憫人，因為祂有無限的慈愛。

上帝可以作證，我是怎樣以基督耶穌的慈愛之心想念你們。

我必引領他們回來，他們必一路含淚禱告。我要使他們走在溪水邊，行在平坦的路上，他們必不會跌倒，因為我是以色列的父親，以法蓮是我的長子。

「耶和華見自己的子民力量衰竭，奴隸和自由人所剩無幾，必為他們主持公道，憐憫祂的僕人。

我曾想，我多麼願意把你們當成我的兒女，賜給你們萬國中最肥美的土地。我原以為你們會叫我『父親』，再不離棄我。

有何神明像你一樣赦免罪惡，饒恕你倖存子民的過犯？你不會永遠發怒，因為你樂於施恩。你必再憐憫我們，將我們的罪惡踐踏在腳下，把我們的一切過犯拋進深海。

耶和華憐愛敬畏祂的人，如同慈父憐愛自己的兒女。

約瑟愛弟之心油然而生，急忙出去找哭的地方。他到自己的房間裡哭了一場。

以法蓮啊，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你的下場如押瑪？我怎能對待你如對待洗扁？我的心意改變，我滿懷憐愛。我不再發烈怒，也不再毀滅以法蓮。因為我是上帝，不是世人，是住在你們中間的聖者，我必不帶著烈怒來臨。

活孩子的母親心疼自己的孩子，就說：「我主啊，把孩子給她吧，千萬不要殺他！」但另一個女人卻說：「孩子不歸我，也不歸你，把他劈開吧！」

因為耶和華責備祂所愛的人，就像父親責備他所疼愛的孩子。

我的心為摩押悲鳴，好像淒涼的簫聲；我的心為吉珥·哈列設人悲鳴，他們的一切財富都消失了。

我不會永遠指責，也不會一直發怒，以免世人——我所造的生靈昏倒。他們貪婪的罪惡使我發怒，我懲罰他們，憤怒地轉臉不理他們，他們卻怙惡不悛。我看見了他們的所作所為，但我還是要醫治他們，引領他們，使他們和那些哀傷的人得安慰，

可是你弟弟是死而復活、失而復得的，所以我們應該歡喜快樂。』」
