耶和華曰、我屢遣我僕諸先知詣彼、夙興而遣之、惟彼不聽我言、

我數遣僕先知、訓迪有眾、惟彼不聽我言、與爾無異、故我罰之若此。

主曰、皆因彼不肯聽我言、我屢屢原文作每晨遣我僕眾先知警教之、竟不聽從、此乃主所言、

For they have not listened to my words,” declares the Lord,“ words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either,” declares the Lord.

That’s because they have not listened to my words,” announces the Lord.“ I sent messages to them again and again. I sent them through my servants the prophets. And you who were taken to Babylon have not listened either,” announces the Lord.

because they did not pay attention to my words, declares the Lord, that I persistently sent to you by my servants the prophets, but you would not listen, declares the Lord.’

For they refuse to listen to me, though I have spoken to them repeatedly through the prophets I sent. And you who are in exile have not listened either,” says the Lord.

I will do this because they have not listened to my words”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ the words that I sent to them with my servants the prophets time and time again. And you too have not listened.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

I will do this because they have not listened to My words”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ that I sent to them with My servants the prophets time and time again. And you too have not listened.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

大地啊，聽哦！看吧，我必使災禍臨到這人民，就是他們的意圖所結的果子；因為我的話他們不留心聽；我的指教他們棄絕了。

不聽從我所差遣，又及時又屢次地差遣，到你們那裏去的、我那些僕人神言人的話，（你們還是沒有聽從），

『從猶大王亞們的兒子約西亞十三年直到今日、這二十三年之內、時常有永恆主的話傳與我，我也對你們傳講，又及時又屢次地傳講，你們卻不聽從。你們總不聽從，不傾耳以聽，雖則永恆主曾差遣了他的眾僕人眾神言人，又及時又屢次地差遣來說：「你們各人要回轉離開各人的壞行徑，離開你們敗壞之行為，住在永恆主從古時所賜給你們和你們列祖的土地，直到永遠；不可隨從別的神、去服事敬拜他們、不可用你們手的製作物來惹我發怒；這樣，我就不加害於你們。」然而你們總不聽從我，只是要用你們手的製作物來惹我發怒，以加害於你們自己：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

你們要謹慎，不要拒絕那向你們說話的；因為那些拒絕在地上傳神諭的尚且不能逃罪；我們若轉臉不顧那從天上傳神諭的、哪能逃罪呢？

你們列祖卻不肯留心聽從，反而扭轉肩頭，使耳朵沉重而不聽；使心剛硬如金鋼石、不聽從禮節規律和話語、就是萬軍之永恆主用自己的靈所傳達，由從前的神言人經手所發表的；故此有大震怒從萬軍之永恆主那裏發出。『我呼喚，他們既怎樣不聽，那麼他們呼求，我也就照樣不聞了』：這是萬軍之永恆主說的。

不要像你們列祖；從前的神言人呼叫他們說：「萬軍之永恆主這麼說：你們要回轉離開你們的壞行徑、壞作為」。他們卻不聽，不側耳聽我：永恆主發神諭說。你們列祖在哪裏呢？那些神言人能永遠存活着麼？但是我的話、我的律例、就是我所吩咐我僕人眾神言人的、豈不是趕上而捉住了你們列祖，以致他們回轉來、說：萬軍之永恆主定意怎樣照我們的行徑和作為來辦我們，他已經照樣辦我們了』？

現在呢、永恆主發神諭說，因你們行了這一切事，我也曾告誡了你們，又及時又屢次地告誡，你們卻不聽；我呼喚你們，你們卻不應，

但他們卻不聽從，不傾耳以聽，竟憑着自己的計謀，隨自己頑強之壞心思而行，向後而不向前。自從你們列祖出埃及地那一天到今日，我差遣我的眾僕人神言人去找你們，我及時而屢次地差遣他們，但這人民卻不聽從，不傾耳以聽，竟硬着脖子作壞事，比他們列祖還厲害。

利甲的兒子約拿達所吩咐他子孫不可喝酒的話、都得到實行了；直到今日他們都不喝，因為他們聽從了他們先祖所吩咐的。至於我呢、我告誡你們，又及時又屢次地告誡，你們卻不聽我。我也差遣了我的眾僕人神言人們，又及時又屢次地差遣、去找你們，說：「你們要回轉、各人離開各人的壞行徑，改正你們所行所作的，不可隨從別的神而服事他們，那麼你們就可以住我所賜給你們和你們列祖的土地。」你們卻不傾耳以聽，你們總是不聽我。利甲的兒子約拿達的子孫既能實行他們先祖所吩咐他們的誡命，而這人民卻不聽我，

我差遣我的眾僕人眾神言人去找你們，又屢次又及時地差遣去說：「你們切不可行我所恨的這可厭惡之事。」他們卻不聽從，不傾耳以聽、以轉離他們的壞事、而不向別的神燻祭。

他們是以背向着我，不是以面；我雖教訓他們，又及時又屢次地教訓，他們卻不聽而接受管教；

故此永恆主這麼說：你們各人沒有聽從我，而給族弟兄、給鄰舍宣告自由，看吧，永恆主發神諭說，我給你們宣告另一種自由，把你們自由的交於刀劍饑荒和瘟疫之下，使你們做地上萬國所不寒而慄的對象。
