玛坦的儿子示法提雅、巴施户珥的儿子基大利、示利米雅的儿子犹甲、玛基雅的儿子示巴户珥，听见耶利米对众民宣讲以下的话：

护卫长拿住祭司长西莱雅、副祭司长西番亚和三个守门的；

又有玛基雅的曾孙、巴施户珥的孙子、耶罗罕的儿子亚大雅，以及亚第业的儿子玛赛；亚第业是雅希细拉的儿子，雅希细拉是米书兰的儿子，米书兰是米实利密的儿子，米实利密是音麦的儿子；

约西亚的儿子西底家代替约雅敬的儿子哥尼雅作王；西底家是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒所立在犹大地作王的。

犹大王西底家第十年，就是尼布甲尼撒第十八年，从耶和华那里有话临到耶利米。那时，巴比伦王的军队正在围困耶路撒冷，耶利米先知被囚禁在犹大王宫中卫兵的院子里。因为犹大王西底家把他囚禁起来，说：“你为什么预言：‘耶和华这样说：看哪！我必把这城交在巴比伦王的手中，他必攻取这城；

西底家登基的时候是二十一岁，他在耶路撒冷作王十一年；他母亲名叫哈慕他，是立拿人耶利米的女儿。他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，像约雅敬一切所行的。因为耶和华的怒气向耶路撒冷和犹大发作，直到他把他们从自己的面前赶走。后来，西底家背叛了巴比伦王。

巴比伦王立约雅斤的叔叔玛探雅接续他作王，并且把玛探雅的名字改为西底家。西底家登基的时候是二十一岁，他在耶路撒冷作王十一年；他母亲名叫哈慕他，是立拿人耶利米的女儿。

护卫长拿住祭司长西莱雅、副祭司长西番亚和三个守门的；又从城里拿住一个管理军兵的官长，并且在城里搜获常见王面的五个人，和一个负责召募当地人民的军长书记，又在城中搜获六十个当地的人民。护卫长尼布撒拉旦把他们拿住，带到利比拉巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王击杀他们，在哈马地的利比拉把他们处死。这样，犹大人被掳，离开了他们的国土。

过了年，尼布甲尼撒派人去把约雅斤和耶和华殿里的珍贵的器皿，一起带到巴比伦来。他立了约雅斤的叔叔西底家，作犹大和耶路撒冷的王。西底家登基的时候，是二十一岁；他在耶路撒冷作王共十一年，他行耶和华他的神看为恶的事；耶利米先知奉耶和华的命令警戒他，他仍不在耶利米面前谦卑下来。尼布甲尼撒王曾经使他指着神起誓，他还是背叛了尼布甲尼撒；他顽固执拗，不肯归向耶和华以色列的神。

还有他们的亲族，在殿里工作事奉的，共八百二十二人；又有耶罗罕的儿子亚大雅；耶罗罕是毗拉利的儿子，毗拉利是暗洗的儿子，暗洗是撒迦利亚的儿子，撒迦利亚是巴施户珥的儿子，巴施户珥是玛基雅的儿子；

约西亚的儿子是：长子约哈难、次子约雅敬、三子西底家、四子沙龙。
