然而，審判公正、洞察肺腑心腸的萬軍之耶和華啊，願我能看見你報應他們，因為我已向你陳明我的冤屈。

但耶和華與我同在，祂像勇猛的戰士。迫害我的人必一敗塗地，羞愧難當，留下永遠的恥辱。

我的上帝啊，我信靠你，求你不要叫我蒙羞，不要讓我的仇敵勝過我。信靠你的必不羞愧，背信棄義者必蒙羞。

願他們永遠羞愧驚恐，願他們在恥辱中滅亡。讓他們知道你是耶和華，唯有你是普天下的至高者。

耶和華啊，我投靠了你，求你使我永不蒙羞。

耶和華啊，求你眷顧我，聽聽敵人對我的指控。人豈能以惡報善？他們竟設陷阱謀害我，求你回想我怎樣站在你面前為他們求情，怎樣求你不要向他們發烈怒。因此，願他們喪身刀下，兒女餓死，妻子喪夫亡子，年長的被殺，年少的死於戰場！當你使敵軍突襲他們時，願他們家中傳出哭喊聲，因為他們挖陷阱要捕捉我，設圈套要絆我的腳。耶和華啊，你知道他們害我的各種詭計，求你不要赦免他們的罪過，不要饒恕他們的惡行。求你使他們倒在你面前，求你在烈怒中懲罰他們。

她怎樣待人，你們也要怎樣待她，要按她所做的加倍地報應她，用她調酒的杯加倍地調給她喝。

願謀取我性命的人蒙羞受辱，願喜歡我遭害的人狼狽逃竄。

首先，我要讓他們因自己的罪與惡而受加倍的報應，因為他們用沒有生命氣息的可憎偶像玷污我的土地，使可厭之物充滿我的產業。」

但我並沒有逃避牧養你子民的工作，也沒有求你降禍給他們。你知道我說的每一句話。

祂一次次地擊傷我，像勇士一樣撲向我。

「耶利米，你要對他們說，『讓我晝夜淚眼汪汪吧，因為我的同胞遭受重創，遍體鱗傷。

願幸災樂禍的人蒙羞受辱，自高自大的人無地自容！願盼望我冤屈得雪的人揚聲歡呼！願他們常說：「耶和華當受尊崇！祂樂意賜福給自己的僕人。」
