你們若不聽，我必因你們的驕傲而在暗地裏哭泣；我的眼必痛哭流淚，因為永恆主的羣羊被擄了去。

因此我充滿了永恆主的烈怒，我含忍得膩了。『我要向街上的孩童和聚在一處的青年團身上倒去了；他們連夫帶妻、年老的跟歲數滿足的必都被捉拿。

『那事到這裏就了結。我但以理呢、心裏一想就驚惶，氣色也突變；然而那事、我總存記於心。』

你也不要進入宴飲之家去跟他們同坐喫喝。

因為我每逢講論時，總得哀呼；我喊叫說：『有強暴哦！要毁滅啦！』因為永恆主的話對於我已成了終日不斷的辱罵和譏刺了。我若說：『我不再去想起他，我不再奉他的名講論，』我心裏就像有火燒着，閉塞在我骨中；我含忍得不耐煩了，簡直不能自禁。

瞧吧，我今日立了你來管列邦列國，是要拔除，要拆毁，要毁滅，要傾覆，要建立，要栽植。』
