再后才是结局。那时候，基督要把国度交给父神；同时，基督要废除一切统治的、掌权的、有势力的，因为基督必须做王，直到神把所有的敌人都放在他的脚下。最后被废除的仇敌就是死亡，因为“神使万有都服从在基督的脚下。”当经上说“万有”都已经服从了他的时候，明显地，使万有服从基督的那一位是不包括在内的。当万有都服从他的时候，子自己也要服从那位使万有都服从他的，这样神就是万有中的万有。

你向我求，我就赐列国为你的继业，赐地极为你的产业。

他看见没有一人行善，他震惊没有一人代求；于是他自己的膀臂为他带来了拯救，他自己的公义扶助了他。他以公义为铠甲穿上，以救恩为头盔戴上，以报复为衣服穿上，以热心为外袍披上。

压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将残的灯火，他不熄灭。他凭着信实带来公正。他不衰残，也不被压服，直到他在地上设立公正；众海岛都期盼他的律法。”

他以敬畏耶和华为乐，审断不凭眼见，裁决不凭耳闻。他必以公义审断贫弱者，以正直裁决世上的卑微人；以口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀死恶人。公义必作他的束带，信实必作他的腰带。

神哪，求你把你的公正赐给王，把你的公义赐给王的儿子！愿他以公义审断你的子民，以公正审断属你的困苦人；愿群山和冈陵藉着公义为百姓带来平安；

在他的日子里，义人必兴盛，并有丰盛的平安，如月长存。愿他施行管辖，从这海直到那海，从大河直到地极。旷野的走兽将在他面前屈身，他的仇敌将舔食尘土。塔尔施和众海岛的君王们将带来贡物，示巴和西拔的君王们将献上礼物。所有的君王都要向他下拜，所有的国家都要服事他。
