“ You are not to say,‘ It is a conspiracy!’ Regarding everything that this people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it.

曰、斯民謂結盟、爾勿謂之、勿畏其所畏、勿視為可懼、

曰、彼言二國要盟、爾勿從而和之、彼畏葸、爾勿畏葸。

斯民所以為結黨結黨或作結盟下同者、爾勿以為結黨、勿畏其所畏、勿驚其所驚、

“ Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.

“ People of Judah, do not agree with those who say Isaiah is guilty of treason. Do not fear what they fear. Do not be afraid.

“ Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread.

“ Don’t call everything a conspiracy, like they do, and don’t live in dread of what frightens them.

Do not call everything a conspiracy that these people say is a conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified.

“ Do not say,‘ A conspiracy,’ Concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, Nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.

Say ye not, A conspiracy, concerning all whereof this people shall say, A conspiracy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be in dread thereof.

Do not call everything an alliance these people say is an alliance. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified.

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all[ them to] whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

“ Do not say,‘ Conspiracy,’ every time these people say the word. Don’t be afraid of what scares them; don’t be terrified.

“ Don’t say,‘ A conspiracy!’ concerning all about which this people say,‘ A conspiracy!’ neither fear their threats, nor be terrorized.

But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread,but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect;

And when you hear of wars and revolts, do not be alarmed; for these things must take place first, but the end will not follow immediately.”

They were in great fear there, where no fear had been; For God scattered the bones of him who encamped against you; You put them to shame, because God had rejected them.

“ Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord,“ Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, In order to add sin to sin;

“ I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass,That you have forgotten the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? And where is the rage of the oppressor?

Then Rezin the king of Aram and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem for war; and they besieged Ahaz, but were not capable of fighting him.At that time Rezin king of Aram restored Elath to Aram, and drove the Judeans away from Elath; and the Arameans came to Elath and have lived there to this day.So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath pileser king of Assyria, saying,“ I am your servant and your son; come up and save me from the hand of the king of Aram, and from the hand of the king of Israel, who are rising up against me.”

“ Now I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed someone, has the power to throw that person into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!

You have journeyed to the king with oil And increased your perfumes; You have sent your messengers a great distance And made them go down to Sheol.You were tired out by the length of your road, Yet you did not say,‘ It is hopeless!’ You found renewed strength, Therefore you did not faint.“ Of whom were you worried and fearful When you lied, and did not remember Me Nor give Me a thought? Was I not silent, even for a long time, So you do not fear Me?

And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon it.And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.The guards shook from fear of him and became like dead men.And the angel said to the women,“ Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.

When it was reported to the house of David, saying,“ The Arameans have taken a stand by Ephraim,” his heart and the hearts of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake from the wind.Then the Lord said to Isaiah,“ Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and your son Shear jashub, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the road to the fuller’s field,and say to him,‘ Take care and be calm, have no fear and do not be fainthearted because of these two stumps of smoldering logs, on account of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and the son of Remaliah.Because Aram, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has planned evil against you, saying,“ Let’s go up against Judah and terrorize it, and take it for ourselves by assault and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it,”
