For so the Lord spoke to me with mighty power and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,

This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people:

The Lord speaks to me while his powerful hand is on me. He is warning me not to live the way these people live. He says,

The Lord has given me a strong warning not to think like everyone else does. He said,

For this is what the LORD said to me with great power, to keep me from going the way of this people:

Indeed this is what the LORD told me. He took hold of me firmly and warned me not to act like these people:

So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away; and I went embittered in the rage of my spirit, and the hand of the Lord was strong on me.

My son, do not walk on the way with them. Keep your feet from their path,

And as for you, son of man, you are not to fear them nor fear their words, though thistles and thorns are with you and you sit on scorpions; you are not to fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, since they are a rebellious house.But you shall speak My words to them whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.“ Now you, son of man, listen to what I am speaking to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth wide and eat what I am giving you.”

Therefore, this is what the Lord says:“ If you return, then I will restore you— You will stand before Me; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They, for their part, may turn to you, But as for you, you are not to turn to them.

Lord, You persuaded me and I let myself be persuaded; You have overcome me and prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all day long; Everyone mocks me.

for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will advise you with My eye upon you.

But if I say,“ I will not remember Him Nor speak anymore in His name,” Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; And I am tired of holding it in, And I cannot endure it.
