“ And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”

“ When they go out of Jerusalem, they will see the dead bodies of those who refused to obey me. The worms that eat their bodies will not die. The fire that burns them will not be put out. It will make everyone sick just to look at them.”

則必飲上帝恚怒之酒、純然無雜、酌於恚怒之杯者、又將於聖使及羔前、受火與硫之痛苦、其痛苦之煙上騰、以至世世、凡拜獸與其像、及受其名之印誌者、晝夜無憩息也、

長眠於塵土者、多有復醒、得永生者有之、蒙羞而受永辱者有之、

爾之威勢琴音、墮於陰府、爾則下鋪以蛆、上被以蟲、

其手執箕、簸淨厥場、斂麥入倉、而燒糠以不滅之火、○

我又見一使立於日中、大聲而呼、謂凡飛於天空之鳥曰、來、集赴上帝之盛筵、俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○我又見獸及世上諸王、並其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被執、偽先知亦然、即昔行異蹟於獸前、以惑受獸印誌而拜其像者、二者生投於火湖、以硫焚之、餘皆見殺於乘馬者口出之劍、眾鳥皆飽其肉焉、

儻爾一手陷爾、則斫之、寧殘而入於生、勝有二手入地獄不滅之火、儻爾一足陷爾、則斫之、寧跛而入於生、勝有二足投於地獄不滅之火、儻爾一目陷爾、則去之、寧一目而進上帝國、勝有二目投於地獄、在彼蟲不死、火不滅、蓋凡人必鹽之以火、

但畏怯、不信、可憎、兇殺、淫亂、巫術、拜像、及凡言誑之人、其分乃在焚火與硫之湖、此即二次之死也、○

蓋耶和華以火與刃、罰凡有血氣者、為耶和華所戮者眾、

猶太人殺主耶穌及諸先知、又窘逐我儕、不悅於上帝、且敵眾人、禁我儕語異邦人、使之得救、常盈厥罪、而震怒盡臨之矣、○

惟彼列邦、與耶路撒冷戰者、耶和華必加之以災、其足尚立時、其肉即腐、目腐於眶、舌腐於口、

義人見其慘報則喜、必濯足於惡人之血兮、人則曰、義人果得賞賚、誠有上帝行鞫於世兮、

以色列諸邑居民必出、取其器械、干盾弓矢、杖梃矛戟、為薪燃火、七年之久、無庸拾薪於野、伐木於林、惟以器械燃火、昔為所刦、今則刦之、昔為所虜、今反虜之、主耶和華言之矣、○是日也、在以色列地、海東往來之谷、我必賜於歌革、以為葬地、人必瘞之於彼、及其羣眾、阻人往來、稱之曰哈們歌革谷、以色列家葬屍、必歷七月、以潔其地、斯土眾民瘞之、而得令名、於我獲榮之日、主耶和華言之矣、彼必簡人恆巡斯土、瘞埋所遺於地之尸、以潔其地、歷至七月、必巡察之、凡巡斯土者、見人之骨、則立誌於旁、待葬者瘞之於哈們歌革谷、必名其邑曰哈摩那、如是俾地成潔、○

晝夜不熄、恆久煙騰、歷代荒蕪、無人經過、迄於永世、

若埃及族、不上而至、亦必遘災、如不上而守構廬節之列邦、遘耶和華所降之災然、埃及與列邦、凡不上而守構廬節者、其罰乃此、

必遺爾名、為我選民藉以呪詛、主耶和華將翦滅爾、命其臣僕以新名、

強者如亂麻、所作如火星、相遇必焚、無人撲滅、
