That you have forgotten the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, As he makes ready to destroy? And where is the rage of the oppressor?

你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

竟忘记了那造你的耶和华，就是展开诸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟终日不断地惧怕，就是惧怕压迫者预备行毁灭时的怒火！其实那压迫者的怒火在哪里呢？

卻忘記鋪張諸天、立定地基、創造你的耶和華？又因欺壓者圖謀毀滅要發的暴怒，整天害怕，其實那欺壓者的暴怒在哪裏呢？

你忘記了造你的耶和華，就是那展開諸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺壓者準備行毀滅的時候所發的烈怒，你就終日不住懼怕呢？其實那欺壓者的烈怒在哪裡呢？

你竟忘了那造了你、的永恆主，那展開諸天，奠定了大地的，而那窘迫人者準備要行毁滅時、你就終日懼怕他的烈怒呀！其實那窘迫人者的烈怒在哪裏呢？

竟忘記了那造你的耶和華，就是展開諸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟終日不斷地懼怕，就是懼怕壓迫者預備行毀滅時的怒火！其實那壓迫者的怒火在哪裡呢？

而忘展布諸天、奠定地基、肇造爾之耶和華、終日因強暴者之怒而懼、以其圖滅爾、其怒安在、

我耶和華肇造爾邦、張舒穹蒼、奠定寰宇、爾何為忘予、恆畏強暴之人、恐其烈怒、滅爾邦家、然彼怒雖烈、焉能有為。

乃忘張天奠地造爾之主、強暴之人、預備殺戮之時、爾終日戰慄、畏其烈怒、究之強暴人之烈怒、果安在乎、

that you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?

How can you forget me? I made you. I stretch out the heavens. I lay the foundations of the earth. Why are you terrified every day? Is it because those who are angry with you are crushing you? Is it because they are trying to destroy you? Their anger can’t harm you anymore.

and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?

Yet you have forgotten the Lord, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!

But you have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

And you forget the Lord your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth; You have feared continually every day Because of the fury of the oppressor, When he has prepared to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

But you have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where[ is] the fury of the oppressor?

Why do you forget the LORD, who made you, who stretched out the sky and founded the earth? Why do you constantly tremble all day long at the anger of the oppressor, when he makes plans to destroy? Where is the anger of the oppressor?

Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to live in.

Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak, Stretching out heaven like a tent curtain.

For you have forgotten the God of your salvation And have not remembered the rock of your refuge. Therefore you plant delightful plants And set them with vine shoots of a strange god.

It is I who made the earth, and created mankind upon it. I stretched out the heavens with My hands, And I ordained all their lights.

Assuredly My hand founded the earth, And My right hand spread out the heavens; When I call to them, they stand together.

Who alone stretches out the heavens, And tramples down the waves of the sea;

Then Zeresh his wife and all his friends said to him,“ Have a wooden gallows fifty cubits high made, and in the morning ask the king to have Mordecai hanged on it; then go joyfully with the king to the banquet.” And the advice pleased Haman, so he had the wooden gallows made.

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of joy above Your companions.”And,“ You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of Your hands;They will perish, but You remain; And they all will wear out like a garment,And like a robe You will roll them up; Like a garment they will also be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an end.”

“ Of whom were you worried and fearful When you lied, and did not remember Me Nor give Me a thought? Was I not silent, even for a long time, So you do not fear Me?

Can you, with Him, spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror?

Now if you are ready, at the moment you hear the sound of the horn, flute, lyre, trigon, psaltery and bagpipe, and all kinds of musical instruments, to fall down and worship the statue that I have made, very well. But if you do not worship, you will immediately be thrown into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire; and what god is there who can rescue you from my hands?”

Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent men and killed all the boys who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity who were two years old or under, according to the time which he had determined from the magi.Then what had been spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled:“ A voice was heard in Ramah, Weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; And she refused to be comforted, Because they were no more.”But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord* appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said,“ Get up, take the Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel; for those who sought the Child’s life are dead.”

Where is the wise person? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Can a virgin forget her jewelry, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me For days without number.

This is what God the Lord says, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it:

It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens.

You forgot the Rock who fathered you, And forgot the God who gave you birth.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb:“ I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,

I have seen a wicked, violent person Spreading himself like a luxuriant tree in its native soil.Then he passed away, and behold, he was no more; I searched for him, but he could not be found.

“ You are not to say,‘ It is a conspiracy!’ Regarding everything that this people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it.It is the Lord of armies whom you are to regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread.

Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath, and his facial expression was changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego. He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.

So they hanged Haman on the wooden gallows which he had prepared for Mordecai, and the king’s anger subsided.

As Pharaoh approached, the sons of Israel looked, and behold, the Egyptians were coming after them, and they became very frightened; so the sons of Israel cried out to the Lord.Then they said to Moses,“ Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt?Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying,‘ Leave us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness!”But Moses said to the people,“ Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will perform for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again, ever.

For the wrath of mankind shall praise You; You will encircle Yourself with a remnant of wrath.

and you will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the animals of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.’Immediately the word concerning Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled; and he was driven away from mankind and began eating grass like cattle, and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.

Those who see you will stare at you, They will closely examine you, saying,‘ Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms,Who made the world like a wilderness And overthrew its cities, Who did not allow his prisoners to go home?’

Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting?”

Your heart will meditate on terror:“ Where is one who counts? Where is one who weighs? Where is one who counts the towers?”You will no longer see a fierce people, A people of unintelligible speech which no one comprehends, Of a stammering tongue which no one understands.

That the rejoicing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the godless momentary?Though his arrogance reaches the heavens, And his head touches the clouds,He perishes forever like his refuse; Those who have seen him will say,‘ Where is he?’He flies away like a dream, and they cannot find him; Like a vision of the night he is chased away.The eye which saw him sees him no longer, And his place no longer beholds him.

They have gone through the pass, saying,“ Geba will be our encampment for the night.” Ramah is terrified, and Gibeah of Saul has fled.Cry aloud with your voice, daughter of Gallim! Pay attention, Laishah and wretched Anathoth!Madmenah has fled. The inhabitants of Gebim have sought refuge.Yet today he will halt at Nob; He shakes his fist at the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.Behold, the Lord, the God of armies, will lop off the branches with terrifying power; Those also who are tall in stature will be cut down, And those who are lofty will be brought low.He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an iron axe, And Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One.

Then the angel of the Lord went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the rest got up early in the morning, behold, all of the 185,000 were dead.So Sennacherib the king of Assyria departed and returned home and lived in Nineveh.Then it came about, as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer killed him with the sword; and they escaped to the land of Ararat. And his son Esarhaddon became king in his place.

This is what you shall say to them:“ The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under these heavens.”It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

In time of old You founded the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.Even they will perish, but You endure; All of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will pass away.

And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return.

and say to him,‘ Take care and be calm, have no fear and do not be fainthearted because of these two stumps of smoldering logs, on account of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and the son of Remaliah.

The enemy said,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoils; I shall be satisfied against them; I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them.’You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

The enemy has come to an end in everlasting ruins, And You have uprooted the cities; The very memory of them has perished.But the Lord sits as King forever; He has established His throne for judgment,

And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone.

Let the outcasts of Moab stay with you; Be a hiding place to them from the destroyer.” For the oppressor has come to an end, destruction has ceased, Oppressors have been removed from the land.

And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.
