爾邑自古以來、風俗敦龐、以迄於今、漸流於淫靡矣。昔也行仁義者居之、茲也嗜殺人者處之。爾銀變為滓、爾酒雜以水、爾之君長悖逆乎我、與盜為侶、好賄賂、納苞苴、孤子嫠婦、不伸其冤。

至高者使四方之民得業、俾亞當後裔散處、則定異邦民之郊址、循以色列族之核數。其人民為耶和華所得、雅各眾為耶和華恆業、

郇僅孤城、所存無幾、猶葡萄園之廬、瓜田之舍、被圍之邑而已。
