If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well- being like the waves of the sea.

I wish you would pay attention to my commands. If you did, peace would flow over you like a river. Godliness would sweep over you like the waves of the ocean.

因為耶和華如此說：「看哪！我必向她廣賜平安，如同江河；廣賜列國的榮耀，如同漫溢的河水。你們必吃奶，被抱在胯上，搖弄在膝上。

愛你律法的人大有平安，沒有什麼能絆倒他們。

耶穌快到耶路撒冷的時候，看見那城，就為她哭泣，說：「巴不得你在這日子裡明白關乎你和平的事，但如今這事在你眼前被隱藏了。

等到聖靈從高處傾注在我們身上，曠野就要變為果園，而果園要被看為果林。那時，公正要居於曠野，公義要住在果園。公義所結出的是平安，公義的果效是平靜安穩，直到永遠。我的子民必住在平安的居所、安穩的住處、安逸的歇息之地。

但願我的子民肯聽從我，以色列肯走我的道路，我就片刻間制伏他們的仇敵，轉手對付他們的敵人。」恨耶和華的人將向他卑躬屈膝，願他們受罰的日子直到永遠。但他必給以色列吃最好的麥子，並說：「我要用磐石所出的蜂蜜使你飽足。」

「耶路撒冷啊，耶路撒冷！這城殺害先知們，又用石頭砸死被差到她這裡的人！我多次想聚集你的兒女，像母雞把自己的小雞聚集在翅膀下，可是你們不願意！

「諸天哪，從上面降下公義！願雲朵傾下公義；願大地開裂，救恩結出果實，使公義一同發芽！是我耶和華造了這一切。」

因為神的國不在於吃喝，而在於聖靈裡的公義、和睦、喜樂。

他們飽嘗你家中的肥甘，你給他們喝你喜樂河的水；
