I reckoned till morning,[ that], as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day[ even] to night wilt thou make an end of me.

I waited patiently till dawn, but like a lion he broke all my bones; day and night you made an end of me.

I waited patiently until sunrise. But like a lion you broke all my bones. In a short period of time you have brought my life to an end.

I calmed myself until morning; like a lion he breaks all my bones; from day to night you bring me to an end.

I waited patiently all night, but I was torn apart as though by lions. Suddenly, my life was over.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast[ them] into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told[ it] in the city where the old prophet dwelt.And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard[ thereof], he said, It[ is] the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear[ you] in pieces, and[ there be] none to deliver.

For this cause many[ are] weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
