禍哉！那些下埃及求幫助的人！他們依仗馬匹，依靠戰車眾多、馬兵強大，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，也不尋求耶和華。

祸哉！那些下埃及求帮助的，是因仗赖马匹，倚靠甚多的车辆，并倚靠强壮的马兵，却不仰望以色列的圣者，也不求问耶和华。

有禍啊！那些下埃及去求幫助的！他們依靠馬匹，倚賴車輛，因為很多；他們倚賴馬兵，因為馬兵極強壯，他們卻不仰望以色列之聖者，永恆主、他們竟不求問！

彼往埃及求助、恃其車馬之眾、驍騎之強、不仰望以色列之聖者、不尋求耶和華、禍哉其人、

人往埃及、求其助己、見車馬眾多、驍騎勇猛、則以之是恃、不恃以色列族之聖主耶和華而求其眷祐、其禍必不遠矣、

下伊及求助、倚賴戰馬、因車乘眾多而恃之、馬卒甚強而賴之、不仰望以色列之聖主、不祈求主、是人也、禍哉禍哉、

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord.

How terrible it will be for those who go down to Egypt for help! How terrible for those who depend on horses! They trust in how many chariots they have. They trust in how strong their horsemen are. But they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel. They don’t ask the Lord for his help.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the Lord!

What sorrow awaits those who look to Egypt for help, trusting their horses, chariots, and charioteers and depending on the strength of human armies instead of looking to the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and who depend on horses! They trust in the abundance of chariots and in the large number of horsemen. They do not look to the Holy One of Israel, and they do not seek the LORD.

Those who go down to Egypt for help are as good as dead, those who rely on war horses, and trust in Egypt’s many chariots and in their many, many horsemen. But they do not rely on the Holy One of Israel and do not seek help from the LORD.

有人靠戰車，有人靠馬匹，但我們卻靠耶和華我們神的名。

還說：「不，我們要騎馬逃跑！」因此你們真的會逃跑；你們又說：「我們要騎飛快的馬！」因此追趕你們的人也會飛快。

看哪！你依靠的埃及是壓裂的蘆葦杖；如果有人倚靠它，它就會扎入那人的手掌，把手掌刺透。埃及王法老對所有依靠他的人都是這樣。

君王不能靠軍隊眾多得拯救，勇士不能靠力量強大得解救；靠馬得救是枉然的，馬不能靠牠的力大救人。

照著摩西的律法上所記的，這一切禍患都臨到我們身上；然而我們卻沒有懇求耶和華我們神的恩寵，好使我們回轉離開自己的罪孽，留心你的真理。

如果不能，你怎能擊退我主的臣僕中至小的一個軍官呢？你竟敢依靠埃及的戰車和馬兵！

然而，這百姓既不轉向擊打他們的那一位，也不尋求萬軍之耶和華。

耶和華宣告：「禍哉！悖逆的兒女！他們所行的計劃不出於我，所立的盟約不出於我的靈，致使他們罪上加罪。他們沒有求問我，就起身下埃及去，在法老的保護下避難，投靠在埃及的蔭庇下。因此，法老的保護必成為他們的恥辱；投靠在埃及的蔭庇下，也必成為他們的羞愧。雖然他們的首領們已經在瑣安，他們的使者們已經到達哈內斯，但他們卻因那無益之民而蒙羞——那民不能給他們帶來幫助和益處，只能帶來恥辱和羞辱。」與南地動物有關的默示：他們把財富馱在驢子背上，把寶物馱在駱駝峰上，經過艱難困苦之地，就是公獅、母獅、蝮蛇和會飛的火蛇出沒之地，要到一個無益於他們的民那裡。埃及的幫助是虛空的、徒然的，因此我稱它為「靜止不動的拉哈伯」。

你們又在兩道城牆之間造蓄水池，用來盛舊池的水；但你們卻沒有指望行這事的、沒有顧念在遠古計劃這事的那一位。

到那日，人必仰望那造他們的主，他們的眼睛必注視以色列的聖者。他們必不仰望自己手所築的祭壇，也不注視自己指頭所造的亞舍拉和香壇。

他們的宴席上有豎琴、里拉琴、鈴鼓、橫笛和酒，但他們沒有注目耶和華的作為，也沒有注視他手所做的。

沒有人呼求你的名，沒有人奮起去緊抓你；因為你向我們掩面，使我們在自己罪孽的權勢下消融。

他們的地充斥著金銀，寶藏無窮；他們的地充斥著馬匹，戰車無數。

你帶著油，朝覲摩洛，多添你的香料；你也派遣信使到遠方，甚至派遣他們下到陰間。
