People will oppress each other— man against man, neighbor against neighbor. The young will rise up against the old, the nobody against the honored.

People will treat one another badly. They will fight against one another. They will fight against their neighbors. Young people will attack old people. Ordinary people will attack those who are more important.

And the people will oppress one another, every one his fellow and every one his neighbor; the youth will be insolent to the elder, and the despised to the honorable.

People will oppress each other— man against man, neighbor against neighbor. Young people will insult their elders, and vulgar people will sneer at the honorable.

彼彎舌如弓、以發誑言、在國中為強大、而不行信實、行惡有加無已、而不我識、耶和華言之矣、爾曹各當謹防鄰里、勿信昆弟、蓋昆弟相欺特甚、鄰里往來讒毀、各迋其鄰、不言誠實、舌習誑言、作惡致憊、耶和華曰、爾居詭詐之中、彼緣詭詐、不肯識我、○萬軍之耶和華曰、因我民女如是、我必陶鎔之、煆煉之、否則何以處之、其舌乃毒矢、而出詐言、對於鄰里、口言平康、心伏殘害、

受賄以流人血、貸金而取利息、行暴於鄰、得財無厭、而忘乎我、主耶和華言之矣、

遂唾其面、拳擊之、有手批之者、曰、

我曰、雅各之首領、以色列家之有司歟、爾其聽之、公義非爾所當知乎、惟爾惡善好惡、剝人之膚、剔肉於骨、食我民之肉、剝其膚、折其骨、切之成塊、若為釜而備、若鼎中之肉、

或唾之、且掩其面、以拳擊之、曰、爾試預言焉、諸隸執而批之、○

厥手惟惡是營、而亟行之、牧伯徇情、士師貪賄、大人言其中心之惡欲、共同組織之、其至善者、等於荊榛、其至正者、劣於棘籬、爾守望者所宣懲罰之日、今已至矣、爾必驚擾、勿信鄰里、勿恃友朋、對爾懷中之婦、亦守爾口、蓋子藐其父、女敵其母、媳敵其姑、人之仇讐、即其家人也、○

首領為賄而行鞫、祭司為利而訓誨、先知為金而占卜、猶恃耶和華曰、耶和華非在我中乎、災禍必不臨我、

萬軍之耶和華云、當以公正行鞫、以仁慈矜憫相待、勿虐遇孤寡、賓旅貧乏、勿中心謀惡、以害昆弟、惟彼不從、而轉其肩、塞耳不聽、

我於日下、見有一患、似出於執政者之錯誤、即置愚者於高位、坐富者於下座也、又見奴僕乘馬、牧伯徒行如僕、

刈爾田之工值、爾以詭譎不給、有聲籲呼、且刈者之呼號、已入萬軍之主之耳矣、

以色列牧伯、各奮其力、流血於爾中、爾中有人輕視父母、虐遇賓旅、欺凌孤寡、

我必蒞臨、行鞫於爾、凡巫覡及淫亂妄誓、負傭值、欺孤寡、屈賓旅、而不畏我者、我必亟證之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

見皓首者當起、敬厥耆老、畏爾上帝、我乃耶和華也、

在撒瑪利亞山、巴珊之牝牛歟、其聽斯言、爾曹虐遇貧窮、壓制困乏、謂其主曰、攜酒共飲、

噫、干罪之邦、負咎之民、作惡之輩、妄行之子、離棄耶和華、輕視以色列之聖者、疏而遠之、

惟爾心目、專務貪婪、流無辜之血、行強迫暴虐、

掩其目、問曰、試言擊爾者誰耶、
