如瞽者明、跛者行、癩者潔、聾者聰、死者甦、貧者聞福音、

眾不勝奇異曰、其所為皆善、使聾者聞、啞者言矣、

俾我主耶穌基督之上帝、有榮之父、賜爾明智與啟示之靈、以識上帝、心目克明、俾知爾蒙其召所望何如、彼於諸聖徒之業、其榮之豐富何如、且於我諸信者、其能之浩大何如、乃依其能力運行於基督中、即起之於死、使坐其右於天、

見者目不瞀、聽者耳必聰、

即今遣爾就之者、俾啟其目、使之離暗就光、脫撒但之權、而歸上帝、致得罪赦、同獲因信成聖之業、

棄愧恥之隱事、不行詭譎、不混上帝道、惟表彰真理、在上帝前質己於眾衷、儻我福音有蔽、惟蔽於淪亡者、斯世之靈、盲其中不信者之心、使基督有榮之福音、光不之照、夫基督上帝像也、我儕所宣非己、乃基督耶穌為主、己則緣耶穌為爾僕耳、蓋命光由暗而照之上帝、已照我心、俾知上帝榮之光、即顯於耶穌基督之面者也、○

蓋耶和華以沉睡之神注爾、閉爾之目、即先知也、蒙爾之首、即先見也、所有啟示、於爾則為緘封之書、或付於識字者曰、請讀之、曰、不能、緘封故也、或付於不識字者曰、請讀之、曰、我不識字也、○

惟其心頑、迄今讀舊約時、斯帕猶存、夫其帕因基督而廢矣、越至於今讀摩西書、帕蒙其心、迨其歸主、帕則去矣、夫主即神、主神所在、乃得自由、我儕去帕於面、如於鑑反照主榮、皆化為主像、自榮致榮、如出乎主、即聖神也、

中心昏謬者得聰慧、怨尤者受教誨焉、

主之神偕我矣、蓋彼膏我、以宣福音於貧者、遣我宣告、虜者得釋、瞽者得明、受挫折者得自由、

我為爾謀、宜向我市火煉之金、致得富、市白衣自衣、致爾裸體之羞不露、市目膏以膏爾目、致得見、

故曰、寐者宜寤、自死而起、基督將照爾矣、○

惟至今日、耶和華未嘗賜爾心能明、目能見、耳能聽、

先知載云、眾將蒙上帝之訓焉、凡聽於父而學之者、則就我、

遂語之曰、以爾所見所聞往告約翰、如瞽者明、跛者行、癩者潔、聾者聰、死者甦、貧者聞福音、

以應以賽亞預言云、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、蓋斯民心頑、耳聵、自閉其目、恐目視、耳聽、心悟、轉移而我醫之、惟爾目福矣、以其見也、爾耳福矣、以其聞也、

惟彼瞽者、我必攜之於不識之途、導之於不識之徑、在彼之前、使暗為光、使曲為直、我將行此、而不之棄、凡恃雕像、對鑄像云、爾為我神、必皆退而愧怍、○爾曹聾者宜聽、盲者宜視而明、

耶穌曰、西門巴約拿福矣、蓋非有血氣者示爾、乃我在天之父也、
