Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from Yahweh, and whose deeds are in the dark, and who say,“ Who sees us?” and“ Who knows us?”

祸哉！那些向耶和华深藏谋略的，又在暗中行事，说：“谁看见我们呢？谁知道我们呢？”

祸哉！那些向耶和华深藏谋略的，他们在暗中行事，说：“有谁看见我们呢？谁会注意我们呢？”

那些向耶和华深藏计谋的人有祸了！他们暗中行事，自以为无人看见也无人知道。

深匿其謀於耶和華前、行事於暗者曰、誰見我、誰識我、禍哉斯人、

行事暗昧、自謂人不及見、厥謀詭秘、自謂我不及察、若此者禍不遠矣、

背主設謀、深藏己意、行事暗中曰、孰見我、孰知我、如斯之人、禍哉禍哉、

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think,“ Who sees us? Who will know?”

How terrible it will be for people who try hard to hide their plans from the Lord! They do their work in darkness. They think,“ Who sees us? Who will know?”

Ah, you who hide deep from the Lord your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say,“ Who sees us? Who knows us?”

What sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their evil deeds in the dark!“ The Lord can’t see us,” they say.“ He doesn’t know what’s going on!”

Woe to those who go to great lengths to hide their plans from the LORD. They do their works in the dark, and say,“ Who sees us? Who knows us?”

Woe to those who deeply hide their plans from the Lord, And whose deeds are done in a dark place, And they say,“ Who sees us?” or“ Who knows us?”

Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord, And their works are in the dark; They say,“ Who sees us?” and,“ Who knows us?”

Woe unto them that hide deep their counsel from Jehovah, and whose works are in the dark, and that say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

Woe to those who go to great lengths to hide their plans from the Lord. They do their works in darkness, and say,“ Who sees us? Who knows us?”

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

Those who try to hide their plans from the LORD are as good as dead, who do their work in secret and boast,“ Who sees us? Who knows what we’re doing?”

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say,‘ Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’”

“ Woe to the rebellious children”, says Yahweh,“ who take counsel, but not from me; and who make an alliance, but not with my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin,

You have wearied Yahweh with your words. Yet you say,‘ How have we wearied him?’ In that you say,‘ Everyone who does evil is good in Yahweh’s sight, and he delights in them;’ or‘ Where is the God of justice?’

For you have trusted in your wickedness. You have said,‘ No one sees me.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge has perverted you. You have said in your heart,‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me.’

“ Because you have said,‘ We have made a covenant with death, and we are in agreement with Sheol. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won’t come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.’”

Meanwhile, when a multitude of many thousands had gathered together, so much so that they trampled on each other, he began to tell his disciples first of all,“ Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

He says in his heart,“ God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart,“ God won’t call me into account?”

I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips,“ For”, they say,“ who hears us?”

Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me.You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether.You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!

I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

They say,“ How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

Then he said to me,“ The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion; for they say,‘ Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh doesn’t see.’

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.

There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart,“ Yahweh will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

You say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?Thick clouds are a covering to him, so that he doesn’t see. He walks on the vault of the sky.’

Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood, and wickedness as with cart rope,who say,“ Let him make haste, let him hasten his work, that we may see it; let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, that we may know it!”

They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say,“ Who will see them?”They plot injustice, saying,“ We have made a perfect plan!” Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.

Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh.“ Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.

They say,“ Yah will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?

“ These are of those who rebel against the light. They don’t know its ways, nor stay in its paths.The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief.The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying,‘ No eye will see me.’ He disguises his face.In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don’t know the light.For the morning is to all of them like thick darkness, for they know the terrors of the thick darkness.
