My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

My heart longs for you at night. My spirit longs for you in the morning. You will come and judge the earth. Then the people of the world will learn to do what is right.

My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right.

“你们要先寻求上帝的国和祂的义，这一切都会赐给你们。

上帝啊，你是我的上帝，我迫切地寻求你！在干旱荒凉之地，我的心渴慕你，渴慕你！

第二天清早，天还没亮，耶稣就起来独自走到旷野去祷告。

我夜晚躺在床上，思念着我心爱的人；我寻找他，却找不到。我要起来寻遍城里的大街小巷，我要寻找我心爱的人。我寻找他，却寻不到。遇上了城中巡逻的守卫，我就问他们：“你们看到我心爱的人了吗？”我刚离开他们，便找到了我心爱的人。我拉着他，不让他走；我把他带回娘家，到怀我者的卧室。

一天，耶稣到山上整夜向上帝祷告。

我要撇下他们，返回我的居所，直到他们知罪来寻求我。在苦难的日子里，他们必恳切地寻求我。”

我半夜起来称谢你公义的法令。

我躺在床上的时候思念你，整夜地思想你。因为你是我的帮助，我在你翅膀的荫庇下欢歌。

就在那一刻，发生了强烈的地震，那座城的十分之一倒塌了，因地震死亡的共七千人，生还者都在恐惧中将荣耀归给天上的上帝。

要趁着还可以找到耶和华的时候寻找祂，趁祂还在附近的时候求告祂。

爱我的，我也爱他；恳切寻求我的，必能寻见。

我在困境中寻求主。我整夜举手祷告，我的心无法得到安慰。我思想上帝，发出哀叹；我默想，心灵疲惫不堪。（细拉）

我一心等候耶和华，比守夜的盼望天明还要迫切，比守夜的盼望天明还要迫切。

让他们知道你是耶和华，唯有你是普天下的至高者。

我虽然躺在床上，心却清醒。我听见我的良人在叩门，说：“开门吧！我的妹妹，我的爱人，我完美无瑕的小鸽子啊，我的头上沾满了露水，头发被夜间的露珠弄湿了。”可是我已经脱了衣裳，难道要再穿上吗？我已经洗了脚，怎能再沾土呢？我的良人从门孔伸进手来，我心神为之荡漾，就起来为他开门；我的双手滴下没药，甚至门闩也沾了我指头滴下的没药。我为良人开了门，他却已经离开了。他的离去使我心中失落。我到处找他，却找不着；我呼唤他，却得不到回答。城中巡逻的卫兵遇见我，把我打伤了，看守城墙的人还抢走了我的披肩。耶路撒冷的少女啊，我恳求你们，倘若遇见我的良人，请告诉他我思爱成病。

这样，人人必敬畏上帝，传扬祂奇妙的作为，思想祂所做的事。

直到上帝击杀他们的时候，他们才回转，诚心寻求上帝。

这样，人们必说：“义人终有善报，确实有一位审判天下的上帝。”

但我凭我的永恒起誓，正如大地充满我的荣耀一样确实，他们绝对看不到我起誓要赐给他们祖先的土地，藐视我的人都看不到那片土地。这些人见过我的荣耀，见过我在埃及和旷野所行的神迹，却仍然不听我的话，试探我十次之多。

借此，雅各家的罪恶必得到赦免，他们罪恶被除掉后所结的果实是：打碎假神祭坛的石头，推倒亚舍拉神像和香坛。
