耶和華與、民罹禍患、望爾眷佑、既受扑責、則柔聲下氣、以祈求爾、

主歟、民遭患難、則仰念主、主加之懲罰、則傾心以祈求主、

Lord, they came to you in their distress; when you disciplined them, they could barely whisper a prayer.

Lord, when your people were suffering, they came to you. When you punished them, they could barely whisper a prayer.

O Lord, in distress they sought you; they poured out a whispered prayer when your discipline was upon them.

Lord, in distress we searched for you. We prayed beneath the burden of your discipline.

LORD, they went to you in their distress; they poured out whispered prayers because your discipline fell on them.

Lord, they sought You in distress; They could only whisper a prayer, Your discipline was upon them.

Jehovah, in trouble have they visited thee; they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

O inhabitant of Lebanon, Making your nest in the cedars, How gracious will you be when pangs come upon you, Like the pain of a woman in labor?

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.

They did not cry out to Me with their heart When they wailed upon their beds.“ They assemble together for grain and new wine, They rebel against Me;

yet when they come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity, saying,‘ We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have committed wickedness’;and when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and toward the temple which I have built for Your name:

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
