耶和華使死無權、歸於消滅、人昔出涕、主為之拭、俾選民不復見辱於天下、蓋耶和華已言之矣。

主天主必除滅死亡、至於永遠、拭淚於一切人之面、在普天之下洗其民之辱、蓋主言之矣、

he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.

神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。将来不再有死亡，也不再有悲伤、哭泣或痛苦，因为先前的事已经过去了。”

一旦这会朽坏的穿上那不朽坏的，这会死的穿上那不死的，经上所记的话就会应验了：“死亡被胜利吞灭了！”

因为在宝座中的羔羊将牧养他们，领他们到生命水的泉源；神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。”

蒙耶和华救赎的人必回归，欢呼着进入锡安；永远的喜乐必临到他们的头上，欢喜快乐要追随他们，悲哀叹息却要逃遁。

在耶和华包扎他子民伤口的日子，在治愈他所击打之创伤的时候，月光必像日光，日光必加增七倍，像七日的光一样。

“不要害怕，因你必不致蒙羞；不要愧疚，因你必不致受辱。你将忘记你青春时的耻辱，不再记起你寡居时的羞耻；

锡安的民——住在耶路撒冷的人哪，你必不再哭泣！他必定恩待你，他听了你哀求的声音，就必回应你。

蒙耶和华救赎的人必回归，欢呼着进入锡安；永远的喜乐必临到他们的头上，欢喜快乐要追随他们，悲哀叹息却要逃遁。

万军之耶和华说：“在我预备珍贵产业的日子，他们必属于我；我必怜恤他们，如同人怜恤那服事自己的儿子。那时，你们必再次看出义人与恶人、服事神的人与不服事神的人的区别。”

然而我为你的殿，心火焚烧；辱骂你之人的辱骂都落在我身上。

最后被废除的仇敌就是死亡，

他们对他说：“希西加如此说：‘今天是一个患难、责罚、耻辱的日子；因为婴孩已经临盆，我们却没有力气生下来。

所以，孩子们既然同属血肉之体，他也照样同有一样的血肉之体，为要藉着死亡来废除那掌握死亡权势的——就是魔鬼，并且释放那些因怕死而终生被束缚为奴役的人。

然后，死亡和阴间被丢进火湖里，这火湖就是第二次的死亡。

“当人们因我的缘故责骂你们、逼迫你们、用各种捏造出来的恶事毁谤你们的时候，你们就是蒙福的。你们当欢喜，当快乐，因为你们在天上的报偿是大的。要知道，那些人也这样逼迫了在你们以前的先知们。

而现在，藉着我们的救主基督耶稣的显现，已经表明出来；基督一方面废除了死亡，另一方面藉着福音彰显了生命和不朽。

我要因耶路撒冷而快乐，因我的子民而欢喜，城中再也听不见哭泣的声音和哀叫的声音；

主啊，求你记住你仆人们所受的辱骂，记住我如何在怀中承受万民的辱骂！耶和华啊，你的仇敌就是这样羞辱了我，这样羞辱了你受膏者的脚踪！

你们必得双倍的份，代替你们受的耻辱；你们必为自己的份而欢呼，代替你们受的羞辱。这样，你们在自己的土地上，必拥有双倍的份；永远的喜乐必属于你们。

因耶和华的话语而战兢的人哪，你们要听他的话！他说：“你们的兄弟，就是那些恨恶你们、因我名的缘故逼迫你们的，曾说：‘愿耶和华得荣耀，好让我们看见你们的喜乐吧！’他们却必蒙羞。”

你曾经被离弃、被恨恶、荒凉无人经过，而如今我要使你成为永远的夸耀、世世代代的喜乐。

你们如果因基督的名受责骂，就是蒙福的，因为荣耀的灵，就是神的灵，住在你们身上。
