當是日雅各家鞏固之城、變為荒寂、與昔以色列族未至之時、山林中所遺之古跡、無以異也。

當是日其鞏固之城將見遺棄、如昔迦南人因以色列人之故、在林中、在山上、所遺棄之城邑、地則荒蕪、

In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth. And all will be desolation.

At that time the strong cities in Israel will be deserted. They will be as they were when the Israelites drove the Canaanites away. They will be like places that are taken over by bushes and weeds. The whole land will become dry and empty.

In that day their strong cities will be like the deserted places of the wooded heights and the hilltops, which they deserted because of the children of Israel, and there will be desolation.

Their largest cities will be like a deserted forest, like the land the Hivites and Amorites abandoned when the Israelites came here so long ago. It will be utterly desolate.

On that day their strong cities will be like the abandoned woods and mountaintops that were abandoned because of the Israelites; there will be desolation.

On that day their strong cities will be like abandoned places in the forest, Or like branches which they abandoned before the sons of Israel; And the land will be a desolation.

In that day his strong cities will be as a forsaken bough And an uppermost branch, Which they left because of the children of Israel; And there will be desolation.

In that day shall their strong cities be as the forsaken places in the wood and on the mountain top, which were forsaken from before the children of Israel; and it shall be a desolation.

On that day their strong cities will be like the abandoned woods and mountaintops that were abandoned because of the Israelites; there will be desolation.

In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be desolation.

At that time their fortified cities will be like the abandoned summits of the Amorites, which they abandoned because of the Israelites; there will be desolation.

In that day, their strong cities will be like the forsaken places in the woods and on the mountain top, which were forsaken from before the children of Israel; and it will be a desolation.

故主耶和華曰、將有敵人環繞斯土、敗爾力、掠爾第、取和華曰、譬彼牧人、救二足一耳於獅口、居撒瑪利亞之以色列人、坐於榻隅、據於華毯之牀、其得救也、亦將若是、主耶和華、萬軍之上帝曰、爾其聽之、以戒雅各家、我罰以色列罪愆之日、亦必罰伯特利之壇、斫其壇角、俾墜於地、且擊其冬夏之室、毀其象牙之室、多室歸於無有、耶和華言之矣、

堅城荒落、為見棄之居所、闃寂無人、猶如曠野、牛犢牧於其處、偃臥而齧條肄、

彼於昆弟中雖結實、而東風將來、即耶和華之風起自原野、使其源竭泉涸、掠其所藏之寶器、撒瑪利亞悖逆其上帝、必負厥咎、仆於鋒刃、嬰孩被碎、孕婦被刳、

禍哉、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、及其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上、其民沉湎於酒、耶和華備強有力者、若烈雹狂風、大水四溢、力擲之於地上、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、被踐於足下、其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上者、若夏前初熟之無花果、見者觀之、摘於手即啖之、

維此眾庶、以法蓮與撒瑪利亞居民將知之、彼心驕氣傲、曰、甎既圮、我以鑿石建之、桑既伐、我以香柏易之、故耶和華起利汛之敵以攻之、並激其仇、東有亞蘭、西有非利士、張口吞噬以色列、然其怒未息、其手尚伸焉、○

耶和華使大地空虛荒蕪、傾而覆之、散其居民、庶人與祭司、僕與主、婢女與主母、購者與售者、貸人者與貸於人者、取利者與納利者、無不若是、地將空曠、遍處荒涼、此言耶和華已言之矣、地悲哀而衰殘、世頹敗而落寞、民中位高者亦頹敗、地為居民污衊、以其犯法律、違典章、背厥永約、故地亡於咒詛、處其上者干咎、居民被燬、所餘無幾、新釀悲哀、葡萄衰殘、心懽愉者、無不慨歎、播鼗之音息、歡忭之聲寂、鼓琴之樂歇、不復飲酒而歌、飲者以醇醪為苦、荒涼之邑傾毀、第宅盡閉、無人得入、人因乏酒、號呼於衢、喜樂俱晦、境內之歡娛已杳、城中荒涼、邑門破壞、

以撒之崇邱必荒寂、以色列之聖所必荒蕪、我將興起、以刃攻耶羅波安家、○

蓋此子未知棄惡擇善之先、爾所疾之二王、其國為墟、耶和華必使患難之日臨爾、與爾民眾、及爾父家、自以法蓮叛離猶大、未有若此者、即亞述王為禍也、○是日也、耶和華必號召埃及河流遠界之蠅、與亞述地之蜂、彼必咸至、集於荒谷、巖穴棘籬、與諸牧地、○是日也、主以所賃河外之刀、即亞述王、薙其首足之毛、去其髭鬚、○

蓋尚有守暗利之例、從亞哈家所為者、而爾遵循其謀、我必使爾寂寞、斯土居民、為人嗤笑、我民之辱、爾必任之、

我曰、主歟、將至何時、曰、迨諸邑荒涼、無有居者、室廬闃寂、田畝荒蕪、耶和華遠徙其民、斯土遂極蕭條、假令其中尚存什一、亦被焚燬、若栗與橡、經伐留幹、其幹乃聖裔也、

惟斯土必因居民行為之果報、而荒蕪焉、○

故爾民中、擾攘將起、保障見毀、如沙勒幔當戰鬥之日、毀伯亞比勒然、其時母子被擲而碎、

毀爾地之城邑、傾爾諸保障、

是日也、雅各之榮消減、豐腴之軀瘦瘠、勢如穫者斂穡、以手刈穗、如人拾遺於利乏音谷、
