主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华膏立了我，让我传福音给贫穷的人，差遣我医治伤心的人，宣告被掳的人得释放、被囚的人得自由；

等到真理之灵来了，祂会引导你们，让你们明白一切的真理。祂不凭自己说话，而是把祂所听见的和有关将来的事告诉你们。

“看啊，我所扶持、所拣选、所喜悦的仆人，我已将我的灵赐给祂，祂必将正义带给万邦。

并把圣灵赐给你们的爱心告诉了我们。因此，从听到你们的消息那天起，我们便不断地为你们祷告，求上帝使你们在一切属灵的智慧和悟性上完全明白祂的旨意，

耶稣受了洗，刚从水里上来，天就开了。祂看见上帝的圣灵像鸽子一样降到祂身上，

我求我们主耶稣基督的上帝——荣耀的父把赐智慧和启示的灵给你们，好使你们更深地认识祂。我也求上帝照亮你们心中的眼睛，使你们知道祂的呼召给你们带来了何等的盼望，祂应许赐给众圣徒的产业有何等丰富的荣耀，

因为上帝赐给我们的不是懦弱的心，而是刚强、仁爱、自律的心。

约翰又做见证说：“我看见圣灵好像鸽子一样从天降下，住在祂身上。我本来不认识祂，但那位差我来用水给人施洗的告诉我，‘你看见圣灵降下，住在谁身上，谁就是用圣灵给人施洗的。’

但从天上来的智慧首先是纯洁，然后是爱好和平、温良柔顺、充满怜悯、多结善果、不存偏见、没有虚伪。使人和睦的人撒下和平的种子，必收获仁义的果实。

祂是真理的灵，世人不接受祂，因为他们看不见祂，也不认识祂；但你们却认识祂，因祂常与你们同在，并且要住在你们里面。

上帝使你们活在基督耶稣里，祂使基督耶稣成为我们的智慧、公义、圣洁和救赎。

上帝所差来的，说的是上帝的话，因为上帝将圣灵无限量地赐给祂。

耶和华说：“我亲自与他们立约，我赐给他们的灵和我放在他们口中的话，必不离开他们和他们的子子孙孙，从现在直到永远。这是耶和华说的。”

你们到我跟前来听吧。我一开始就没有暗地里说话，事情发生的时候，我就在场。”现在主耶和华差遣我和祂的灵来。

“我要从父那里为你们差护慰者来，祂就是从父而来的真理之灵。祂来了要为我做见证。

耶和华在云中降临，对摩西说话，把降在摩西身上的灵也赐给七十位长老。灵一降在他们身上，他们就说起预言来，但只说了这一次。七十位长老中的伊利达和米达没有到会幕去，但耶和华的灵也降在他们身上，他们就在营中说起预言来。

嫩的儿子约书亚充满了智慧之灵，因为摩西曾把手按在他身上。以色列人都听从他，遵守耶和华对摩西的吩咐。

为要使你们众人心受鼓励，联结在爱里，有丰富笃定的真知灼见，可以认识上帝的奥秘。这奥秘就是基督，一切智慧和知识都蕴藏在祂里面。

你们也知道，拿撒勒人耶稣是上帝用圣灵和大能膏立的。祂周游四方，广行善事，医好被魔鬼压制的人，因为上帝与祂同在。
