上帝曰、昔我得以色列族、如曠野遇葡萄、視爾列祖、如初熟之無花果、然彼往巴力比耳、崇拜可惡之物、我於是痛絕之、與所崇之物無異、

主说：“我遇见以色列如葡萄在旷野；我看见你们的列祖如无花果树上春季初熟的果子。他们却来到巴力毗珥专拜那可羞耻的，就成为可憎恶的，与他们所爱的一样。

我发现以色列，如在旷野的葡萄；我看见你们的祖先，如春季无花果树上初熟的果子。他们却来到巴力‧毗珥，献上自己做羞耻的事，成为可憎恶的，与他们所爱的一样。

耶和华说：“昔日我看见以色列时，像在荒野看见葡萄；看见你们的祖先时，像在无花果树上看见初熟的果子。但他们却祭拜巴力·毗珥，把自己献给可耻的偶像，变得像他们所爱的偶像一样可憎。

“我遇见以色列，好像在旷野里遇见葡萄。我看见你们的列祖，像看见无花果树初熟的果子。他们却来到巴力．毗珥，专作羞耻的事，成为可憎恶的，像他们所爱的偶像一样。

我遇以色列、若遇葡萄於曠野、見爾列祖、如見無花果樹初熟之果、然彼就巴力毘珥、自奉於可恥之物、成為可憎、如其所愛者然、

主曰、昔我得以色列族、如葡萄在曠野、視爾列祖、如在無花果樹初熟之果、然彼就巴力毘珥、專心崇拜可恥之物、遂為可憎、與所崇之物無異、

“ When I found Israel, it was like finding grapes in the desert; when I saw your ancestors, it was like seeing the early fruit on the fig tree. But when they came to Baal Peor, they consecrated themselves to that shameful idol and became as vile as the thing they loved.

The Lord says,“ When I first found Israel, it was like finding grapes in the desert. When I saw your people of long ago, it was like seeing the early fruit on a fig tree. But then they went to Baal Peor. There they gave themselves to that shameful god named Baal. They became as evil as the god they loved.

Like grapes in the wilderness, I found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig tree in its first season, I saw your fathers. But they came to Baal-peor and consecrated themselves to the thing of shame, and became detestable like the thing they loved.

The Lord says,“ O Israel, when I first found you, it was like finding fresh grapes in the desert. When I saw your ancestors, it was like seeing the first ripe figs of the season. But then they deserted me for Baal peor, giving themselves to that shameful idol. Soon they became vile, as vile as the god they worshiped.

I discovered Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your ancestors like the first fruit of the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal-peor, consecrated themselves to Shame, and became abhorrent, like the thing they loved.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your forefathers as the earliest fruit on the fig tree in its first season. But they came to Baal peor and devoted themselves to shame, And they became as detestable as that which they loved.

“ I found Israel Like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers As the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal Peor, And separated themselves to that shame; They became an abomination like the thing they loved.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first- ripe in the fig- tree at its first season: but they came to Baal- peor, and consecrated themselves unto the shameful thing, and became abominable like that which they loved.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time:[ but] they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto[ that] shame; and[ their] abominations were according as they loved.

彼與淫婦、同獻祭祀、故其妻女、雖不節不貞、亦不降罰、無道之民、終必淪亡、

嗚呼哀哉、敬虔者為義者、在於斯土、翦除已盡、我欲得一人而不能、譬諸初稔之無花果、毫無所獲、其故何與、因夏果已收、葡萄已拾也、維彼眾民、設伏以殺人、設網以陷人、

俾我告耶路撒冷人、宣播其言、曰、我憶在昔、邦國肇造、爾行於野、無人耕種之地、當時我眷愛爾、若納聘之幼女。以色列族仍成聖之民、以奉事我、若土產之初實、我頒斯詔、凡吞噬斯民、獲罪於我者、必遭災害。

惟彼違逆、不從我命、不棄可惡之物、不毀埃及之偶像、故爾祖尚在埃及時、我已憤怒甚烈、欲降災其躬、

斯民也、宗事巴力比耳、奉祀亡者、食其祭品兮、干耶和華震怒、疫癘流行兮、

又給之以葡萄園、在亞割之谷、望故鄉而作謳歌、與肇邦之日、出自埃及無異。

以色列族居失亭、淫於摩押女、摩押女祭其上帝、請以色列族至、遂食祭品、共相崇拜、以色列族奉事巴力比耳、耶和華怒甚、諭摩西曰、爾取民之首惡、懸於我前、至日入時、則我怒可解。摩西告以色列刑官曰、凡屬爾統轄之人、有事巴力比耳者、悉當誅戮。○摩西與以色列會眾號哭於會幕前、斯時也、有以色列人攜米田女、適其同儕所。亞倫孫、以利亞撒子、非尼哈見之、遂離會眾、取戟於手、襲以色列人之後、至其寢室、以戟刺其人、並女之腹、為以色列族除其災。時遇災而死者、計二萬四千人。耶和華諭摩西曰、我斷不容以他上帝匹我、以色列族犯此、故我震怒、祭司亞倫孫、以利亞撒子、非尼哈施其熱中、以奉事我、使我不滅其眾、故爾當告之、我將與彼立平康之約、使其子孫恆為祭司、蓋其熱中、以奉事我、為以色列民贖罪。與米田女同戮之以色列人、屬西面族中最著者、撒路子心哩。被誅之女、屬米田族中最著者、牧伯蘇耳之女、哥斯庇。○耶和華諭摩西曰、自今而後、必攻擊米田人、俾嘗艱苦、蓋米田人使其同儕牧伯之女哥斯庇誘爾、崇事比耳、我降災害、困苦於爾、是女亦見殺焉。

凡從巴力比耳者、俱為爾之上帝耶和華所絕、乃爾目擊。

遂至以實各谷、在彼斫下葡萄之枝、枝上其實纍然、二人貫之以杖、負之以肩、又取石榴與無花果、因在彼有葡萄果纍然、以色列族斫之、故稱其地以實各谷。○

在虛曠之野、獸號之所、耶和華遇此民、環護之、訓誨之、惜之如眸子、

從尼八子耶羅破暗所行、猶為細事、乃娶西頓王、謁巴力女、耶洗別為后、遂服事崇拜巴力、

耶和華又曰、以色列族免鋒刃、遜於荒、沾我鴻恩、歸於福地、

爾觀其絡、可憶我誡、遵循勿失、

彼祭鬼神、不崇上帝、彼崇他上帝素所未識、初從鄰國而來、即其祖宗亦未嘗敬畏。

於是人以耶路巴力名其田、曰、既傾巴力壇、由巴力自訟。○

以色列族孩提之時、我已愛之、視之若子、召之出埃及、

乃昔所行者、今日恥之、何益哉、終亦必亡而已、

先知傳虛詞、祭司隨聲附和、國民以此為悅、將若之何。

我所行於埃及民者、爾亦目擊、譬諸大鷹、負雛於翼、使爾眾歸我。宇內屬我、爾果聽我言、守我約、則於列國中、我必以爾為寶、亦為祭司之國、成聖之民、役事於我、爾以此言告於以色列族。

余任其桀驁、聽其縱欲兮。
