一入閟帷、永開生路、萬古暢通；其所攜者、非羔犢之血、乃其自身所流之寶血也。

其死也乃一時為贖罪而死；其生也則永久為天主而生。

彼亦無須迭次自獻、如通常大司祭之必須歲攜不屬自身之血、以進閟帷也。

基督為吾人自舍其身、正欲拯贖吾人、脫免一切罪惡、加以洗滌、俾得充其子民、發憤為善云耳。

蓋世之大司祭莫不選自人間奉派代表眾人、司天主之事、以獻禮物、及贖罪之祭。

力行愛德、亦如基督之愛爾也。彼竟為吾人之故、慨然以身獻於天主、作為祭祀牲牷、芳氣馥馥、有如馨香。

惟大司祭一年一度得入閟帷、入必獻牲牷之血、用贖自身及眾民之罪過。

爾等亦為此廣廈之一部、聖神所建於同一隅石之上、以供天主之居停者也。
