當告以色列會眾曰、是月十日、按其家族、各家必取一羔、若其人寡、一羔食不能盡、則與比鄰同取、隨其人數、各如其量、羔宜一歲牡而無疵者、取於綿羊山羊、俱可、留至是月十四日夕、以色列會眾皆宰羔、取血以釁左右橛、及門楣、於食羔之室、是夕炙其肉、與無酵餅共苦菜食之、勿生食、勿水烹、必炙以火、首足與臟、皆食之、無留於明晨、留於明晨者、以火燬之、當腰束帶、足納履、手執杖、迅速而食、是為耶和華之逾越節、是夜我將巡行埃及、擊其長子、與羣畜首生者、而罰埃及諸神、我乃耶和華、惟汝居室、以血為徵、我見之、將逾越爾、擊埃及時、不令施剿者臨爾、當誌是日、以為耶和華之節期、歷世守之、永為定例、○

蓋摩西既依律言諸誡於民、則取犢與羊之血、並水、與絳綿、牛膝草、灑其書以及諸民、

且有新約中保耶穌、與所灑之血、此血所言、較亞伯為尤善、

依父上帝預知而蒙選、由聖神而成聖、以致順服、灑以耶穌基督之血者、願恩惠平康、益增於爾、○
