I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.

大聲呼曰、彼來若獅、我主與、余巡守已永朝矣、屹立已永夕矣、

大闢坐邑之月城間、戍卒登邑門之樓、遙見一人獨趨、

耶和華上帝、頒予以明詔、錫安於聖民。不使其妄為、予必聽從之兮。

然念斯理、殊難解兮。予入上帝之室、遂得究其終極兮、

耶路撒冷城垣、必置邏卒以察之、凡籲耶和華者、當晝夜不息、求之不已、待其建造耶路撒冷、使輝耀於天下。

耶利米曰、耶和華與、吾訴於爾前、爾惟公是秉。即以爾行事論之、作惡者享通、逆理者平康、誠何故哉。

余清晨籲告、望爾拯救、爾俯聞是禱。

爾曹欲得基督託我言之據乎、基督在爾中、非柔也、乃有能也、

有戍卒立於耶斯烈臺、遙見耶戶之軍將至曰、我見一軍。約藍曰、當遣騎者往迓之、問其為平康而至乎。

則彼定擬之意可知矣。彼必不以大能責我、反加體恤。可得自辨、明我為義、則人無從罪我。

毅然無懼、直造主前、平日所為、述之不隱。

悅以其子示我、使傳福音於異邦、我遂不謀於世人、

以賽亞以土馬之事、得之默示者、述於左、自西耳有人招予、曰、戍卒與、民遇患難、如在昏夜、其事可若何、呼之者再。應之曰、旭日將至、昏夜亦至、爾欲詰予、必先悔爾心、乃可。○

先知曰、我之聖主上帝耶和華、自亙古而有、必保全我、無至於死、耶和華上帝已降斯害、扑責斯民、爾品至聖、惡者爾所不喜、暴者爾所不悅、今人強據我有、何爾反佑之、惡者害義、何爾默不一言乎。爾何使我無君、若鱗族昆蟲、敵以鈎釣我、以網捕我、既得我眾、喜不自勝、獻祭焚香、以敬其網、因所得者多、食之果腹、即罄斯網、復出害人、戮民無厭、爾何聽其然乎。

此我自訟之言也、願全能之主垂聽、而降其旨、有訟我者、請陳其說。

設席宴享、爰遣邏卒巡更、呼曰、群伯速興、備爾干戈、

私行非義於其上帝耶和華前、自戍樓以至邑垣、悉建崇坵、
