然后扫荡如风吹过。他们是有罪的，因他们以自己的势力为神。

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

然後掃蕩如風吹過。他們是有罪的，因他們以自己的勢力為神。

然後風一掃，他們就過去、而有罪！嘿，這就是他們的勢力，他們所看為神的！

彼以己力為神、其衝突也、若風飄過、致干罪戾、

精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

於是其心尤為狂傲、前驅造孽、以勢力為神、

Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”

Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god.”

Then shall he sweep by as a wind, and shall pass over, and be guilty, even he whose might is his god.

到那时，必有话对这人民和耶路撒冷说：“有一阵热风从旷野光秃的高冈，刮向我的子民（“我的子民”原文作“我子民的女子”），不是为簸散，也不是为扬净；这过强的风要为我刮来，我就要向他们宣告我的判词。”

于是人把从耶路撒冷圣殿里，就是神的殿里，掠来的金器皿拿来；王和他的大臣、妻妾、妃嫔就用这些器皿来喝酒。他们喝酒，赞美那些用金、银、铜、铁、木、石所做的神。

但他心高气傲、妄自尊大的时候，就从国位上被赶下来，他的尊荣也被夺去。

他说：“这大巴比伦城不是我用大能大力建造作我的京都，为显我威严的荣耀吗？”这话在王的口中还没有说完，就有声音从天上传下来，说：“尼布甲尼撒王啊！有话对你说：你的王权被褫夺了。你必被赶逐，离开人群，和野地的走兽同住；你必像牛一样吃草，要经过七年的时期；等到你承认至高者在世人的国中掌权，他喜欢把国赐给谁，就赐给谁。”这话立刻就应验在尼布甲尼撒身上；他被赶逐，离开人群，像牛一样吃草，身体被天露滴湿，直到他的头发长得像鹰毛，指甲像鸟爪。“七年的日子满了，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的理智恢复过来，我就称颂至高者，赞美尊崇活到永远的神。他的统治永无穷尽，他的国度直到万代。
