So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to everyone. They have filled the earth with their harmful acts. I am certainly going to destroy them and the earth.

神對挪亞說：「一切血肉之軀的結局已經來到我面前，因為他們使大地充滿了殘暴；看哪，我要把他們與這地一起毀滅！

上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

上帝謂挪亞曰、緣世億兆、暴虐徧行、我必翦滅、使之云亡。○

天主謂挪亞曰、凡有血氣者將被我翦滅、因其強暴徧行、我將滅之於地、

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!

Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

Then God said to Noah,“ The end of humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I have decided that all living creatures must die, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Now I am about to destroy them and the earth.

God said to Noah,“ I will bring an end to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them and the earth.

The end of all things is near. So be watchful and control yourselves. Then you may pray.

“ Son of man, I am the Lord and King. I say to the land of Israel,‘ The end has come! It has come on the four corners of the land.The end has now come for you. I will pour out my anger on you. I will judge you based on how you have lived. I will pay you back for all your evil practices. I hate them.“‘ I will not feel sorry for you. I will not spare you. You can be sure that I will pay you back for how you have lived. I will judge you for your evil practices. I hate them. You will know that I am the Lord.’“ I am the Lord and King. I say,‘ Horrible trouble is coming! No one has ever heard of anything like it. It is here!“‘ The end has come! The end has come! It has stirred itself up against you. It is here!

People of Israel, listen to the Lord’ s message. He is bringing charges against you who live in Israel. He says,“ There is no faithfulness or love in the land. No one recognizes me as God.People curse one another. They tell lies and commit murder. They steal and commit adultery. They break all my laws. They keep spilling the blood of other people.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar. Fire will destroy everything in them. God will judge the earth and everything done in it.So everything will be destroyed in this way. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives.Live like this as you look forward to the day of God. Living like this will make the day come more quickly. On that day fire will destroy the heavens. Its heat will melt everything in them.

Every living thing on earth was wiped out. People and animals were destroyed. The creatures that move along the ground and the birds in the sky were wiped out. Everything on earth was destroyed. Only Noah and those with him in the ark were left.

The earth was very sinful in God’s eyes. It was full of people who did mean and harmful things.God saw how sinful the earth had become. All its people were living very sinful lives.

“ Simeon and Levi are brothers. Their swords have killed a lot of people.

“ What do you see, Amos?” he asked.“ A basket of ripe fruit,” I replied. Then the Lord said to me,“ The time is ripe for my people Israel. I will no longer spare them.

I looked at the earth. It didn’t have any shape. And it was empty. I looked at the sky. Its light was gone.I looked at the mountains. They were shaking. All the hills were swaying.I looked. And there weren’t any people. Every bird in the sky had flown away.I looked. And the fruitful land had become a desert. All its towns were destroyed. The Lord had done all this because of his great anger.The Lord says,“ The whole land will be destroyed. But I will not destroy it completely.So the earth will be filled with sadness. The sky above will grow dark. I have spoken, and I will not take pity on them. I have made my decision, and I will not change my mind.”

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days. That was when the sons of God went to the daughters of human beings. Children were born to them. The Nephilim were famous heroes who lived long ago. Nephilim were also on the earth later on.

You who live by the rivers of Babylon, your end has come. You who are rich in treasures, it is time for you to be destroyed.

The waters also flooded the world of that time. And so they destroyed the world.By God’s word the heavens and earth of today are being reserved for fire. They are being kept for the day when God will judge. Then ungodly people will be destroyed.

Noah had faith. So he built an ark to save his family. He built it because of his great respect for God. God had warned him about things that could not yet be seen. Because of his faith Noah showed the world that it was guilty. Because of his faith he was considered right with God.
