God saw how sinful the earth had become. All its people were living very sinful lives.

神观看世界，见是败坏了；凡有血气的人在地上都败坏了行为。

Will you stay on the old path that sinful people have walked on?They were carried off even before they died. Their foundations were washed away by a flood.They said to God,‘ Leave us alone! What can you do to us, you Mighty One?’

Then that person will come to others and say,‘ I sinned. I made what is wrong appear to be right. But I wasn’t punished as I should have been.

From heaven the Lord looks down and sees everyone.From his throne he watches all those who live on the earth.

After that, Christ went and made an announcement to the spirits in prison.Long ago these spirits did not obey. That was when God was patient while Noah was building the ark. And only a few people went into the ark. In fact, there were only eight. Those eight people were saved through water.

The eyes of the Lord are everywhere. They watch those who are evil and those who are good.

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days. That was when the sons of God went to the daughters of human beings. Children were born to them. The Nephilim were famous heroes who lived long ago. Nephilim were also on the earth later on.The Lord saw how bad the sins of everyone on earth had become. They only thought about evil things.

God did not spare the world’s ungodly people long ago. He brought the flood on them. But Noah preached about the right way to live. God kept him safe. He also saved seven others.

When the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it. I will remember that my covenant will last forever. It is a covenant between me and every kind of living creature on earth.”So God said to Noah,“ The rainbow is the sign of my covenant. I have made my covenant between me and all life on earth.”

And all people will see God’s salvation.’ ”( Isaiah 40:3–5)

God continued,“ My covenant is between me and you and every living creature with you. It is a covenant for all time to come. Here is the sign of the covenant I am making.

that I will go down and see for myself. I want to see if what they have done is as bad as the cries that have reached me. If it is not, then I will know.”

Then the Lord said to Noah,“ Go into the ark with your whole family. I know that you are a godly man among the people of today.

But the Lord was very pleased with Noah.

Every living thing that moved on land died. The birds, the livestock and the wild animals died. All of the creatures that fill the earth also died. And so did every human being.
