至其一邑名敍加近雅各賜其子約瑟之田、

後出百金、與示劍父哈抹子孫、以購張幕之所、

約瑟裔謂約書亞曰、耶和華既錫嘏於我、使為大族、何僅予我一區為業、約書亞曰、爾若為大族、以法蓮山地狹小、可往比利洗利乏音地、伐木以居、約瑟裔曰、此地不足容我、而居伯善與其鄉里、及耶斯列谷之迦南人、皆有鐵車、約書亞謂約瑟家以法蓮瑪拿西人曰、爾乃大族、且有大力、不可僅有一區、山與附近之地、必悉歸爾、雖為森林、可伐其木而居、迦南人雖強、而有鐵車、爾必逐之、
