I will go down to Egypt with you, and I will surely bring you back again. And Joseph’s own hand will close your eyes.”

I will go down to Egypt with you. I will surely bring you back again. And when you die, Joseph will close your eyes with his own hand.”

I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph’s hand shall close your eyes.”

Then Joseph fell on his father’s face, and wept over him and kissed him.

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

Then Israel said to Joseph,“ Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you, and bring you back to the land of your fathers.

‘ My father made me swear, saying,“ Behold, I am about to die; in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Canaan, there you shall bury me.” Now then, please let me go up and bury my father; then I will return.’ ”

But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

Joseph said to his brothers,“ I am about to die, but God will assuredly take care of you and bring you up from this land to the land which He promised on oath to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying,“ God will assuredly take care of you, and you shall carry my bones up from here.”

for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah opposite Mamre, which Abraham had bought along with the field as a burial site from Ephron the Hittite.

But I will also judge the nation whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with many possessions.As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age.Then in the fourth generation they will return here, for the wrongdoing of the Amorite is not yet complete.”
