Then He said,“ I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

God said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

And he said, I[ am] God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there.

He said,“ I am God, the God of your father. Don’t be afraid to go down into Egypt, for there I will make of you a great nation.

And you shall respond and say before the Lord your God,‘ My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt and resided there, few in number; but there he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.

And I will make you into a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing;

God also said to him,“ I am God Almighty; Be fruitful and multiply; A nation and a multitude of nations shall come from you, And kings shall come from you.

indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand, which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.

Then behold, the Lord was standing above it and said,“ I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your descendants.Your descendants will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

since Abraham will certainly become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel:“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

Now Israel lived in the land of Egypt, in Goshen, and they acquired property in it and were fruitful and became very numerous.

Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons in all, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.

“ But as the time of the promise which God had assured to Abraham was approaching, the people increased and multiplied in Egypt,

But the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased greatly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly mighty, so that the land was filled with them.Now a new king arose over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.And he said to his people,“ Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are too many and too mighty for us.Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, otherwise they will multiply, and in the event of war, they will also join those who hate us, and fight against us and depart from the land.”

Then God said to Abram,“ Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years.

saying,‘ Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has graciously granted you all those who are sailing with you.’

And the Lord appeared to him and said,“ Do not go down to Egypt; stay in the land of which I shall tell you.Live for a time in this land and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham.

The Lord your God has multiplied you, and behold, you are this day like the stars of heaven in number.

for all the land which you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever.I will make your descendants as plentiful as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can count the dust of the earth, then your descendants could also be counted.

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,“ Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great.”

Then Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying,“ Do not be afraid of serving the Chaldeans; stay in the land and serve the king of Babylon, so that it may go well for you.
