惟園之中一樹、其果、天主戒曰、毋食毋捫、恐致死亡、

but God did say,‘ You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

But God did say,‘ You must not eat the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden. Do not even touch it. If you do, you will die.’ ”

“ It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said,‘ You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”

在山四周、為民定界、告之曰、爾其慎之、毋陟於山、毋犯其境、犯之者、殺無赦、手勿捫之、必擊以石、或射以矢、無論人畜、不存其生、迨鳴角既久、可至山前、

論及爾所書者、則男不近女為善、

我友朋歟、尚其矜我、矜我、因上帝之手、加於我身也、

曰、我受膏者勿犯之、我之先知勿傷之、

如謂勿執、勿嘗、勿捫也、
