雅各說：『先對我起誓吧。』以掃就對他起誓，把長子的名分賣給雅各。

雅各说：“你今日对我起誓吧。”以扫就对他起了誓，把长子的名分卖给雅各。

雅各说：“你今日对我起誓吧。”以扫就向他起誓，把长子的名分卖给了雅各。

雅各说：“你今日对我起誓吧。”以扫就向他起誓，把长子的名分卖给了雅各。

雅各说：“好，你现在向我起誓保证吧！”于是，以扫就起誓把长子的名分卖给了雅各。

雅各说：“你先向我起誓吧。”以扫就向他起了誓，把自己的长子名分卖给雅各。

雅各说：“你现在就向我起誓！”以扫就向他起誓，把自己长子的名份卖给了雅各。

雅各說：「你今日對我起誓吧。」以掃就對他起了誓，把長子的名分賣給雅各。

雅各說：「你今日對我起誓吧。」以掃就向他起誓，把長子的名分賣給了雅各。

雅各說：「你今日對我起誓吧。」以掃就向他起誓，把長子的名分賣給了雅各。

雅各說：「好，你現在向我起誓保證吧！」於是，以掃就起誓把長子的名分賣給了雅各。

雅各說：“你先向我起誓吧。”以掃就向他起了誓，把自己的長子名分賣給雅各。

雅各說：「你現在就向我起誓！」以掃就向他起誓，把自己長子的名份賣給了雅各。

雅各曰、先誓於我、以掃誓之、於是以其長子之業、鬻於雅各、

雅各曰、當與我誓、遂誓之、於是鬻其長子業於雅各。

雅各曰、今日當與我誓、以掃遂與之誓、於是以長子名分、鬻於雅各、

But Jacob said,“ Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.

But Jacob said,“ First promise to sell me your rights.” So Esau promised to do it. He sold Jacob all the rights that belonged to him as the oldest son.

Jacob said,“ Swear to me now.” So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob.

But Jacob said,“ First you must swear that your birthright is mine.” So Esau swore an oath, thereby selling all his rights as the firstborn to his brother, Jacob.

Jacob said,“ Swear to me first.” So he swore to Jacob and sold his birthright to him.

And Jacob said,“ First swear to me”; so he swore an oath to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob.

Then Jacob said,“ Swear to me as of this day.” So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob.

And Jacob said, Swear to me first; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

Jacob said,“ Swear to me first.” So he swore to Jacob and sold his birthright to him.

And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

But Jacob said,“ Swear an oath to me now.” So Esau swore an oath to him and sold his birthright to Jacob.

Jacob said,“ Swear to me first.” He swore to him. He sold his birthright to Jacob.

免得有嫖妓或做男倡的、或凡俗的、像以掃，他為了一碗食品，就把自己的長子名分賣掉了。

人都是指着比自己大的來起誓；起誓對於他們就了結了一切的爭辯，可做確定的保證。

以掃說：『是不是因為他名叫「欺騙」、他才欺騙了我這兩次呢？我的長子名分、他取了去；如今你看，他又把我應得的祝福取了去。』以掃又說：『難道你沒有給我保留個祝福麼？』

以掃帶着他的妻子、兒女，和他家中一切的人口，以及他的牲畜、他一切的牲口、一切的財產，就是他在迦南地所積蓄的，往西珥地，離開他弟弟雅各。因為他們的財物很多，不能同住；因了他們牲畜的緣故，他們寄居的地方容不下他們。

我要叫你指着永恆主、天之上帝、地之上帝、來起誓，不要從迦南人、就是我住在他們中間的迦南人中為我兒子娶妻。

他並且對她起誓說：『凡你所求的，甚至於我國的一半，我也要給你。』

亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說：『我已經向天地的製作主，至高者上帝永恆主舉手起誓；
