我令爾指主宰天地之耶和華天主而誓、我居迦南人中、爾毋為我子娶其女為妻、

我要叫你指着耶和华天地的主起誓，不要为我儿子娶这迦南地中的女子为妻。

我要叫你指着耶和华—天和地的上帝起誓，不要为我儿子娶我所居住的迦南地的女子为妻。

我要叫你指着耶和华—天和地的神起誓，不要为我儿子娶我所居住的迦南地的女子为妻。

我要你凭耶和华——掌管天地的上帝起誓，你不会找这迦南的女子做我儿子的妻子。

我要你指着耶和华天地的神起誓，不可从我现在居住的迦南人中，为我的儿子娶他们的女子为妻。

I want you to swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living,

The Lord is the God of heaven and the God of earth. I want you to make a promise to me in his name. I’m living among the people of Canaan. But I want you to promise me that you won’t get a wife for my son from their daughters.

that I may make you swear by the Lord, the God of heaven and God of the earth, that you will not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell,

戶蘭又曰、當頌美天地之主以色列天主、因賜大衛王賢子、賦以智慧聰明、能建主之殿及王宮、

亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

於是以掃知迦南女不悅於父以撒、

約拿單愛大衛如愛己命、故使之復誓、

希西家禱於主前曰、居二基路伯間主以色列之天主歟、惟主為天下萬國之天主、天地乃主所造、

今我待爾以仁慈、爾當指主而誓、亦以仁慈待我父家、並示我以誠信之證、

我斥責之、咒詛之、撻其數人、拔其髮、使之指天主而誓、必不以女嫁異邦人、不娶其女為妻、為媳、

爾當敬畏主爾之天主、奉事之、親慕之、惟指其名而誓、

惟主獨一、主造天與天上之天、並諸天象、造地與其上萬物、造諸海與其中所有、皆為主所保存、眾天使眾天使原文作天之眾軍崇拜主、

守者必指主而誓、言未嘗取人之物、畜之主當諾之、而守者不償、

利百加謂以撒曰、我因赫族之女、厭我生命、倘雅各亦娶此地赫族如斯之女為妻、我尚生存何益哉、以撒召雅各為之祝福、囑曰、毋娶迦南女為妻、乃起、往巴旦亞蘭至爾母之父彼土利家、由爾舅氏拉班女中、娶女為妻、

今在此、當指天主以誓、毋向我及我子我孫負心、我如何厚待爾、爾亦如何厚待我、及爾所旅之地、

夫在、婦為律法所束、夫死、婦得自由、可隨意而嫁、惟信主者乃可、

祝之曰、願天地之主宰、至高之天主、賜福於亞伯蘭、

當畏主爾之天主而奉事之、指其名而發誓、

惟願創造天地之主、賜福於爾曹、

我指己而誓、口出真言、決不反覆、萬膝必向我而屈、萬口必指我而誓、

莫若爾我立約、俾於爾我間為證、雅各取石、立之為柱、又謂諸兄弟曰、爾可聚石、眾乃取石、積累為垤、共食於垤上、拉班名之曰伊迦珥撒哈杜他、伊迦珥撒哈杜他乃亞蘭言譯即以石垤為證之義雅各名之曰迦累得、迦累得乃希伯來言譯即以石垤為證之義拉班曰、今日之石垤、可於爾我間為證、故名曰迦累得、又名曰米斯巴、米斯巴譯即鑒察之義蓋言我儕睽違時、主必鑒察於爾我間、爾若負我女、在我女之外、別有所娶、雖無人見爾我所為、而天主鑒之、或作雖無人為爾我間之證有天主為爾我間之證拉班又謂雅各曰、可觀爾我間所積之垤、所立之柱、此垤為證、此柱為證、我不越此垤害爾、爾不越此垤此柱害我、願亞伯拉罕所敬之神、拿鶴所敬之神、及其祖所敬之神、審判於爾我間、雅各指其父以撒所畏之天主而誓、

則主必使爾股爛股爛或作髀消下同腹脹、於爾民中為人指以咒詛、指以發誓、

當是時爾必循誠實公平義理指主而誓、列國必恃主為福、恃主為榮、

爾當如斯告彼曰、非造天地之神、必亡於地、於此天下、

約瑟謂以色列眾子曰、爾曹當立誓、天主眷念爾時、爾必攜我骸骨出於是邦、

若彼勤學我民之道、以我名而誓云、我指永生主發誓、如昔彼教我民指巴力而誓然、則必得建立於我民中、

雅各家稱為以色列人、稱為以色列人或作以以色列人之名而名出於猶大源者、爾當聽此、爾雖指主名而誓、稱道以色列之天主、不按誠實、不秉正直、

當時有偉丈夫在世、後、神子與世人之女同室、生子亦偉丈夫、即亙古以來、英武有名之人、○

凡人立誓、必指大於己者而誓、既立誓、則事定、而爭辯皆息、

又恐爾為爾子娶其女、其女妄從其神、誘爾子亦妄從其神、

毋妄稱爾天主耶和華之名、因妄稱耶和華名者、耶和華必不以之為無罪、必不以之為無罪或作斷無不罰

神子見世人之女美麗、乃隨意選擇、娶以為妻、

凡我所諭爾者、必當謹守、他神之名毋稱之、亦不可使人聞於爾口、

凡在樓巔崇拜天象、又崇拜耶和華、指耶和華而誓、又指瑪勒堪瑪勒堪即摩洛又名米勒公亞捫族之神名而誓、

迦南生冢子西頓、亦生赫族、耶布斯族、亞摩利族、革迦撒族、希未族、亞基族、西尼族、亞瓦底族、洗瑪利族、哈抹族、此後迦南諸族散處矣、迦南之境、自西頓至基拉、至迦薩、又至所多瑪、俄摩拉、押瑪、洗扁、拉沙、

凡在斯地、為己求福者、必向真實之天主求福、凡在斯地發誓者、必指真實之天主發誓、蓋前災悉忘、隱於我之目前、

毋指我名妄誓、致褻瀆爾天主之名、我乃主、

曰、我儕見主祐爾、竊謂爾我間當立誓、互相結盟、昔我儕未嘗加害於爾、乃厚待爾、送爾安然以去、如是、爾亦莫惡待我、蓋爾蒙主賜福、以撒為之設筵、相與飲食、明日夙興相誓、以撒送之、安然而歸、
