I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

I will make my covenant with you last forever. It will be between me and you and your family after you for all time to come. I will be your God. And I will be the God of all your family after you.

And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

是夜、主顯現諭之曰、我乃爾父亞伯拉罕之天主、毋懼、為我僕亞伯拉罕故、我必祐爾、賜福於爾、使爾後裔眾多、

主又曰、此日之後、我與以色列家所立之約、即將以我之律法、置於其衷、銘於其心、我將為彼之天主、彼將為我之民、

然彼等慕更美之家鄉、即在天者、故天主自稱為彼之天主不以為恥、而為之備邑、

當日主與亞伯蘭立約曰、我以斯地賜爾後裔、自伊及河至伯拉大河、

我將行於爾間、我為爾之天主、爾為我之民、

蓋所許者、許爾及爾子孫、與諸遠人、即主我天主所召者、

亦非因係亞伯拉罕之裔、皆得為子、經載主云、惟由以撒而生者、方可稱為爾裔、是則非肉體所生者為天主之子、惟所應許之子、方視之為裔、所許之言云、屆期我至、而撒拉必生子、

云我乃亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、天主非死者之天主、乃生者之天主也、

矜恤我祖、念其聖約、即與我祖亞伯拉罕所矢之誓、云、賜我得拯於敵手、畢生在主前以聖以義、無懼而事之、

必安居其上、建造房屋、栽植葡萄園、安然而居、四周之敵、藐之藐之或作憾之者、我必降之以罰、彼則知我耶和華乃其天主、

又曰、我乃爾父之天主、亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、摩西蔽面、不敢觀天主、

彼乃以色列人、為天主之子、有榮光、盟約、律法、禮儀、應許、

永遠記念所立之約、所定之命、萬世不忘、即與亞伯拉罕所立之約、向以撒所發之誓、為雅各定為長久之命、與以色列立為永遠之約、曰、我必賜爾以迦南地、為爾應得之產業、

天主又謂摩西曰、當如是告以色列人云、遣我就爾者乃耶和華、即爾列祖之天主、亞伯拉罕之天主、以撒之天主、雅各之天主、此乃我恆久之名、歷世之稱、

主必循在古時與我列祖所立之誓、將施誠實於雅各、加恩惠於亞伯拉罕、

我又與彼立約、以其所旅之地、即迦南地賜之、

扶持其僕以色列、垂念矜恤亞伯拉罕及其苗裔、至於世世、如昔諭我祖之言、

今爾若聽從我言、遵守我約、普天下雖皆屬我、我必於萬國中、特選爾為我民、特選爾為我民或作以爾為寶亦在我前、為祭司之國、為成聖之民、爾當以斯言告以色列人、

所行乃循今世之俗、從在空中掌權之君、即今誘惑悖逆不順者之神、

耶穌見之不悅、謂門徒曰、容孩提就我、勿禁之、蓋有天主國者、正如是人也、

天主應許亞伯拉罕及其裔、不云爾之眾裔、而指多人、乃云爾裔、而指一人、即基督也、我言昔天主為基督有原文抄本無為基督句所預定之約、四百三十年後之律法不能廢之、使所許者歸於虛、

我乃主爾之天主、曾引導爾出自伊及、爾張爾口、我即使之充滿、
