爾若是之愚乎、始之以聖神、今成之以形軀乎、

何爾竟如此之無知耶、始則受聖神、今乃以儀文終乎、

爾始以聖神、今欲終以儀文、爾竟如此無知乎、

其以聖神始、而以形跡終乎？豈爾之冥頑不靈、一至於此乎？

Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?

Are you so foolish? You began by the Holy Spirit. Are you now trying to finish God’s work in you by your own strength?

Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?

Are you so foolish? After beginning by the Spirit, are you now finishing by the flesh?

Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now perfected in the flesh?

Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now going to be made complete by the flesh?

Are you so foolish? Although you began with the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by human effort?

You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?This persuasion is not from him who calls you.

This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,being only( with meats and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.

As many as desire to make a good impression in the flesh compel you to be circumcised; just so they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?You observe days, months, seasons, and years.

who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life;for it is testified,“ You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and uselessness( for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread; which is called the Holy Place.
