天主藩眾於不信之中、特欲矜恤眾耳、

若爾為聖神所導、則不在律法下、

乃顧門徒、私謂之曰、見爾所見者、其目福矣、我告爾、昔有多先知及君王、欲見爾所見而不得見、欲聞爾所聞而不得聞、○

仰望耶穌、即始立我信而終成之者、彼思所將得之樂、不以凌辱為意、受十字架之苦、今坐於天主寶座之右、

基督之神、在先知心中、預言基督受苦後得榮、彼考察神所指者、為何期何時、先知得默示、知所宣之事非為己、乃為我儕、此事賴自天所遣之聖神而傳福音者已告爾、天使亦願詳察此事焉、○

此皆得有信之稱、但未得天主所許者、蓋天主為我儕備至善之福、彼眾不得享福成全、必待與我儕同享之、或作蓋天主為我儕備更美之福彼眾享福若不與我儕同享則不能成全原文作天主為我儕備更美之事若非我儕與偕彼眾則不能成全

於猶太人我如猶太人、以得猶太人、於律法下者我如律法下、以得律法下者、於無律法者我如無律法、以得無律法者、實我在天主前非無律法、乃在基督之律法下、

此皆至死有信而未得所許者、惟遙望之、即欣喜以待、自謂在世為客旅、為寄居者、

爾欲服律法下者、且告我、爾不聽律法乎、
