反之、彼等洞察予實受有傳福音於未割者之使命、適如伯鐸祿之傳福音於受割之人也。

反倒看见了主托我传福音给那未受割礼的人，正如托彼得传福音给那受割礼的人。（

相反地，他们看见了主托付我传福音给未受割礼的人，正如主托付彼得传福音给受割礼的人；

相反地，他们看见了主托付我传福音给未受割礼的人，正如主托付彼得传福音给受割礼的人；

相反，他们都已看到，上帝差遣了我向外族人传福音，就像祂差遣了彼得向犹太人传福音一样。

反而因为看见我受托传福音给没有受割礼的人，就像彼得受托传福音给受割礼的人一样，

不过他们反而看出来：我受了委托去传福音给没有受割礼的人，正如彼得受了委托去传福音给受割礼的人，

反倒看見了主託我傳福音給那未受割禮的人，正如託彼得傳福音給那受割禮的人。（

相反地，他們看見了主託付我傳福音給未受割禮的人，正如主託付彼得傳福音給受割禮的人；

相反地，他們看見了主託付我傳福音給未受割禮的人，正如主託付彼得傳福音給受割禮的人；

相反，他們都已看到，上帝差遣了我向外族人傳福音，就像祂差遣了彼得向猶太人傳福音一樣。

反而因為看見我受託傳福音給沒有受割禮的人，就像彼得受託傳福音給受割禮的人一樣，

不，相反的，他們看見了我受託付來傳不受割禮的福音，正如彼得受託付去傳受割禮的福音

不過他們反而看出來：我受了委託去傳福音給沒有受割禮的人，正如彼得受了委託去傳福音給受割禮的人，

反乎此、既見主託我宣福音於未受割者、亦猶託彼得於已受割者、

反乎此則雅各、磯法、約翰、見主託我、傳福音與未受割禮者、亦猶託彼得、傳福音與已受割者、

反見主託我傳福音與未受割禮者、如託彼得傳福音與已受割禮者、

On the contrary, they recognized that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised.

In fact, it was just the opposite. They recognized the task I had been trusted with. It was the task of preaching the good news to the Gentiles. My task was like Peter’s task. He had been trusted with the task of preaching to the Jews.

On the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised

Instead, they saw that God had given me the responsibility of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as he had given Peter the responsibility of preaching to the Jews.

On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel for the uncircumcised, just as Peter was for the circumcised,

But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as[ the gospel] of the circumcision[ was] unto Peter;

On the contrary, when they saw that I was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised just as Peter was to the circumcised

but to the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcised, even as Peter with the Good News for the circumcised—

主曰：『第往、斯人乃吾特選之器、將以吾名播諸異族與列王、以及義塞子孫。

吾儕既承天主不棄、托以福音、故惟知率直講道、不欲取悅於人、但欲取悅於洞察人心之天主而已。

按其所悅樂之時、惠然以其聖子啟示吾心、令我傳道於外邦。吾即當機立斷、不屑謀之於血氣肉情、

我之蒙簡為傳報福音之宗徒、而充列邦信德上、真道上、之導師者、實亦為此明證而已。吾作此言、實屬至誠而無妄也。

以及其他違悖正道者而設也。正道者何、即全德天主光榮之福音是已；而予則受斯重寄焉。

彼等既見予所受聖寵之不虛、於是號稱教會柱石之雅各伯基法及若望、相率與予及巴拿巴殷勤握手、以表心契；我往外邦、而彼等則傳道於受割禮者。

猶太人拒而誚之；葆樂拂衣曰：『爾罪自承、予也何咎！自此吾適異邦矣！』

若予之傳道為出於自動、則受酬宜也、今既有所受命、則在予為一受託之義務而已。

吾坦率告爾異邦人、吾為傳道於異邦人之宗徒也；

葆樂、巴拿巴坦然答曰：『天主之道、本當先傳於爾；爾既棄之、而自絕於永生之道、吾乃轉傳於異邦。主嘗示曰：「我立爾為萬國光、普施救恩於寰宇。」』異邦人聞此、無不竊喜、頌揚主道；凡受命能得永生者、翕然起信、

予之奉命而任傳道、而作宗徒、而充師導者、為此福音而已。

吾主之寬裕容忍、正為吾人之福、當作如是觀也。關於此點、我親愛之兄弟葆樂、亦已按其所賦之智慧、寓書於爾矣。

吾人賴以蒙恩、忝列宗徒、期使萬民歸順正道、依崇聖名；

眾皆默然。後聆巴拿巴、葆樂詳述天主假其手在異邦人中所行之靈異神蹟。

故汝等當知天主已將此救恩傳諸異邦人、彼等且必聽信。』

因此同心合意推選同人、遣之與吾所敬愛之巴拿巴、葆樂、連袂訪爾。二君碧血丹忱、為吾主耶穌基督之名、而罔顧其生者也。
