既知人得稱義非由行律法、乃由信耶穌基督、故我儕亦信耶穌基督、欲由信基督稱義、不由行律法、蓋無人由行律法得稱義也、

既知道人称义不是因行律法，乃是因信耶稣基督，连我们也信了基督耶稣，使我们因信基督称义，不因行律法称义；因为凡有血气的，没有一人因行律法称义。

可是我们知道，人称义不是因律法的行为，而是因信耶稣基督，我们也信了基督耶稣，为要使我们因信基督称义，不因律法的行为称义，因为，凡血肉之躯没有一个能因律法的行为称义。

不过我们知道：人被称为义不是本于律法上的行为，而是藉着信耶稣基督。于是我们信了基督耶稣，为要因信基督称义，而不是本于律法上的行为，因为没有一个人本于律法上的行为会被称为义。

不過我們知道：人被稱為義不是本於律法上的行為，而是藉著信耶穌基督。於是我們信了基督耶穌，為要因信基督稱義，而不是本於律法上的行為，因為沒有一個人本於律法上的行為會被稱為義。

既知人之見義、非由行律、乃由信耶穌基督、則信乎耶穌基督、俾由信而見義、不由行律、蓋無人由行律而見義也、

知人非恃法而行、乃信耶穌基督稱義、故信基督耶穌、欲因信而稱義、非恃法而行焉、恃法而行者、無人稱義也、

雖然、吾人既知人之成義、非憑律法、惟憑篤信基督、故毅然惟基督是信、亦欲緣篤信基督、不恃律法、而成義耳。無他、血氣之倫、未有僅憑遵行律法、而成義者也。

know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

Here is what we know. No one is made right with God by obeying the law. It is by believing in Jesus Christ. So we too have put our faith in Christ Jesus. This is so we can be made right with God by believing in Christ. We are not made right by obeying the law. That’s because no one can be made right with God by obeying the law.

yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.”

and yet because we know that a person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we ourselves have believed in Christ Jesus. This was so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.

nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

使我得義、非由律法、乃由信基督、即天主因信所賜之義、

是則何言、異邦人不尋義而得義、即由信之義、

求主莫追詰追詰或作審鞫僕人、因在主前無人得稱為義、

若亞伯拉罕由其所行而得稱義、則有可誇、惟於天主前無有也、

不行而信稱罪人為義之主、則其信稱為義、人不因所行蒙天主稱義、大衛亦謂其有福、

前之法度、輕弱無益、故廢之、蓋律法無所成全、惟新賜更美之望、我儕賴以近於天主前、

蓋天主惟一、由信稱受割禮者為義、亦因信稱未受割禮者為義、

即按父天主之預知蒙選、感於聖神而成聖、以致能順服耶穌基督、且得灑以其血者、願恩寵平安、多加於爾、○

蓋亞伯拉罕及其後裔、蒙許將為嗣子以嗣世界、非由律法、乃由信之義、若屬律法者為嗣子、則信歸於虛、所許亦廢矣、蓋律法致刑、無律法則無過犯、

以贖律法下之人、使我眾得為子、

爾欲恃律法稱義者、棄基督絕於恩矣、

蓋天主之義、顯於此福音、使人由信愈信、如經載云、義人因信得生、○

爾曹雖未見耶穌而猶愛之、今雖不見而仍信之、則有榮光之大樂、非言所能盡、且得爾信之功效、即爾靈魂之救也、

既以我為有罪、我何必徒勞自辯、

耶穌基督之僕及使徒西門彼得、書達凡賴我天主及我救主耶穌基督之義、共得此至寶之信者、

我深知有如此、然人於天主前、焉得自辯為義、然人於天主前焉得自辯為義或作然人於天主前豈得視為有義若欲與天主爭辯、萬中不能答一、不能答一或作必不答一

在天主前、世人豈得為義、婦之所生、豈得言潔、

律法因肉體無力、不能滅罪、惟天主為罪遣其子降生肉體、狀如罪人之身、而滅身之罪矣、

此後我觀之、見有大眾、不可勝數、由諸族諸姓諸民諸國來、立於寶座及羔前、衣白衣、手執巴勒瑪巴勒瑪椶類株高而結果果形似棗枝、

對曰、我主自知之、曰、彼經歷大難而來、曾以羔之血滌其衣、而衣潔白、

但按經、萬人皆在罪中、使所許之福、由信耶穌基督、可賜於諸信者、信之道尚未顯著、我眾為律法所守、而被拘以俟信之道顯著、如是、律法為我啟蒙之師、引我就基督、使由信稱義、

舍此別無救主、蓋天下人間、更無賜他名、我儕可賴以得救、○

其所預定者、亦召之、所召者、亦稱之為義、所稱義者、亦榮之、○然則何言、天主祐我、誰能敵我、天主不惜己子、為我眾舍之、豈不以萬物偕其子並賜我乎、誰能訟天主所選者乎、天主稱之為義、誰能罪之乎、基督已死、且已復活、今在天主右、恆為我儕祈禱、

有教法師起而試之曰、師、我當何為、可得永生、耶穌曰、律法所載為何、爾所讀如何、對曰、當盡心盡性盡力盡意、愛主爾之天主、亦當愛鄰如己、耶穌曰、爾所答是也、行此則生、彼欲自表為義、謂耶穌曰、誰為我鄰、

我儕若信使我主耶穌基督由死復活之天主、則我儕之信、亦必視為我儕之義、耶穌為我儕之罪而被解、為使我儕得稱義而復活、是以我儕既由信稱義、則賴我主耶穌基督、得與天主復和、我儕又因耶穌由信得前進而蒙此恩寵、並得立於其中、且望天主之榮為樂、且望天主之榮為樂或作因望天主之榮而誇

蓋天主在基督內、使世與己復和、不以其罪愆歸之、且以復和之道託我儕、是以我為基督之使、如天主藉我而勸爾、我代基督、求爾與天主復和、天主使彼無罪者、為我儕成為罪、使我儕因彼成為天主之義、或作天主使彼無罪者為我儕視為有罪致我儕賴彼而得天主之義

惟載此、使爾信耶穌為天主子基督、既信、則可因其名而得永生、

爾中有人、素亦如是、今賴主耶穌基督之名、及我天主之神、得洗滌成聖稱義、○

主若究察罪愆、主歟、何人能立、惟主常施赦免、使人敬畏、

凡恃行律法之功者、皆服詛、蓋經載云、凡不恆遵律法書所載而盡行之者、服詛也、無人恃律法、在天主前得稱義明矣、蓋經云、義人由信得生、律法不本乎信、惟云、若行此、則因之得生、基督已贖我脫律法之詛、以其為我而服詛、蓋經云、凡懸於木者服詛也、使亞伯拉罕之福、因基督耶穌、臨及異邦人、致我儕由信而受所許之聖神、

乃基督於我儕尚為罪人時、為我而死、天主以此彰其愛我之愛、今我儕因基督之血、既得稱義、不更可賴之而免怒乎、

我由律法、而為律法已死、使我可為天主而生、我與基督同釘於十字架、而我仍生、非我生、乃基督在我內而生、且今我在身而生、乃以信天主子而生、彼曾愛我、為我舍己者也、
