撒拉鐵子所羅巴伯、約薩達子耶書亞、咸起、復興工作、建天主殿於耶路撒冷、有天主之先知、與之偕而助之、

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, began to work. So did Joshua, the son of Jozadak. They began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were right there with them. They were helping them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak responded by starting again to rebuild the Temple of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them and helped them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak began to rebuild God’s house in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were with them, helping them.

then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to rebuild the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which[ is] at Jerusalem: and with them[ were] the prophets of God helping them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak began to rebuild the temple of God in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build God’s house which is at Jerusalem; and with them were the prophets of God, helping them.

約薩達的兒子耶書亞同作祭司的弟兄、跟撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和他的族弟兄、都起來、築了以色列上帝的祭壇，要照神人摩西律法書上所寫的、在祭壇上獻上燔祭。

由於神言人哈該和易多的孫子撒迦利亞之傳神言、猶大人的長老就建造，而且很成功。憑着以色列之上帝的諭旨、也憑着波斯王古列、大利烏、亞達薛西的諭旨、他們一直地建造，並且造完。

天使又指給我看大祭司約書亞站在永恆主的使者面前，撒但也站在約書亞右邊來控告他。永恆主對撒但說：『撒但哪，永恆主叱責你！那揀選了耶路撒冷的永恆主叱責你！這不是從火中搶救出來的一根柴麼？』當時約書亞穿着污穢的衣服站在使者面前。使者應聲吩咐那些待立在他面前的說：『你們要脫去他污穢的衣服。』又對約書亞說：『看哪，我使你的罪孽離開了你，要給你穿上華麗的吉服。』

那時撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞、以及所有剩下的人民、都聽從了永恆主他們的上帝的聲音、和永恆主他們的上帝所差遣的神言人哈該的話；人民在永恆主面前都存着敬畏的心。永恆主的使者哈該將永恆主的使命對人民說：『永恆主發神諭說：是我與你們同在。』永恆主激動了撒拉鐵的兒子猶大省長所羅巴伯的心，和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞的心以及所有剩下的人民的心，他們就來，從事於重建萬軍之永恆主他們的上帝之殿的工作。那時正在六月二十四日。

這一個月二十四日、永恆主的話第二次傳與哈該說：『你要告訴猶大省長所羅巴伯說：我必震動天和地，我必傾覆列國的寶座，消滅列邦之國的勢力；我必傾覆戰車和駕車的；馬和騎馬的必下到陰間；各人都必倒斃於他弟兄刀下。萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：到那日我必選取你，撒拉鐵的兒子、我的僕人所羅巴伯啊，永恆主發神諭說，我必以你為印章；因為我揀選了你：這是萬軍之永恆主發神諭說的。』

這不是說我們做主來轄管你們的信仰，乃是說我們為了你們的喜樂而合作同工；因為你們在信仰上已經站穩了。

他應聲告訴我說：『這是永恆主的話、向所羅巴伯說的：萬軍之永恆主說；不是依靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，乃是倚靠我的靈。大山哪，你算得甚麼？在所羅巴伯面前你必成為平地；他必搬出一塊頂上石頭，就有歡呼聲說：「它多壯觀！壯觀啊！」』永恆主的話又傳與我說：「所羅巴伯的手奠定了這殿的根基，他的手也必了截了這工程；那時你就知道是萬軍之永恆主差遣了我到你們這裏來的。

你要取銀子和金子、作冠冕，戴在約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞頭上，

現在呢、所羅巴伯啊，永恆主發神諭說：你要剛強！約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞啊，你要剛強！這地的眾民哪，永恆主發神諭說：你們要剛強！要作工！因為萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：是我與你們同在：這就是當你們出埃及時我和你們立約的話：如今我的靈仍住在你們中間；你們不要懼怕。因為萬軍之永恆主這麼說：再過一小段時我必再一次震動天和地、洋海和旱地；我必震動萬國；萬國的珍寶都必前來；我就使這殿充滿了富麗堂皇：這是萬軍之永恆主說的。萬軍之永恆主發神諭說：銀子是我的，金子是我的。這殿後者之富麗堂皇必大過前者之富麗堂皇：這是萬軍之永恆主說的；在這地方我必賜下福利興隆：萬軍之永恆主發神諭說了。」』
