此中復取少許、投於火而焚之、自此必有火出、及於以色列全家、○

Again, take a few of these and throw them into the fire and burn them up. A fire will spread from there to all Israel.

Next, get a few more hairs. Throw them into the fire. Burn them up. The fire will spread to all the people of Israel.”

And of these again you shall take some and cast them into the midst of the fire and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.

Then take some of these hairs out and throw them into the fire, burning them up. A fire will then spread from this remnant and destroy all of Israel.

Take some more of them, throw them into the fire, and burn them in it. A fire will spread from it to the whole house of Israel.

Take again some of them and throw them into the fire and burn them in the fire; from it a fire will spread to all the house of Israel.

Then take some of them again and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From there a fire will go out into all the house of Israel.

And of these again shalt thou take, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; therefrom shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

Take some more of them, throw them into the fire, and burn them in it. A fire will spread from it to the whole house of Israel.

Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire;[ for] thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

Again, take more of them and throw them into the fire, and burn them up. From there a fire will spread to all the house of Israel.

Of these again you shall take, and cast them into the middle of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From it a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.

猶大族耶路撒冷人與、當潔心志、若受割禮、崇事乎我、如爾猶作惡不悛、我怒必烈、若火之燃、炎炎不滅。

七月、宗室以利沙馬孫、尼大尼子以實馬利、與王臣十人、至密士巴、見亞希甘子其大利、設宴待之。以實馬利與同至十人偕起、各持利刃、於席間擊其大利殺之、斯人也、巴比倫王所立為方伯者。在密士巴從其大利之猶大人、及迦勒底人、武士、悉被以實馬利所殺。既殺其大利、無人知之。詰旦有八十人、自示僉、示羅、撒馬利亞、而至、薙鬢裂衣、自毀其身、攜香品禮物、欲詣耶和華殿遺址。尼大尼子以實馬利哭泣於途、出密士巴境迎之、曰、請爾來見亞希甘子其大利、既至邑中、尼大尼子以實馬利率眾殺之、投尸於井、其中有十人、告以實馬利曰、我有麰麥小麥、油與蜜、藏於田、毋殺予。於是釋之、不與同儕就戮。昔亞撒王懼以色列王巴沙、鑿井以備不虞、今尼大尼子以實馬利、殺其大利眾、投尸於井。在密士巴遺民、及公主、侍衛長尼布撒喇擔、所託亞希甘子其大利者、尼大尼子、以實馬利虜之、欲投亞捫。迦哩亞子約哈難與武士長、聞尼大尼子、以實馬利所作之事、則率眾欲與之戰、遇之於基遍、大川之濱。以實馬利自密士巴所擄之民、見迦哩亞子約哈難、與武士長、則喜、盡歸誠之。
