I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.

“我是好牧人，好牧人为羊舍命。

祂像牧人一样牧养自己的羊群，用臂膀把羊羔聚在一起，抱在怀中，温柔地引导母羊。

他们要事奉我——他们的上帝耶和华，听从我为他们选立来继承大卫宝座的王。

以法他的伯利恒啊，你在犹大各城中毫不起眼，但将有一位从你那里出来，为我统治以色列；祂的根源自亘古，来自太初。耶和华要将以色列人交给他们的敌人，直到那临盆的妇人生下儿子。那时，祂流亡的弟兄将重返他们的以色列同胞那里。祂要挺身而起，倚靠耶和华的能力，奉祂上帝耶和华的威名牧养祂的群羊。他们将安然居住，因为那时祂必受尊崇，直达地极。祂必给他们带来平安！亚述人侵略我们的国土、践踏我们的宫殿时，我们将选立七位牧者和八位首领抗击他们。

你们要到我这里来，侧耳听我的话，就必得到生命。我要跟你们立永久的约，将应许给大卫的可靠恩福赐给你们。我使他统管万民，向万民做见证。

等到大牧长显现的时候，你们必得到永不衰残的荣耀冠冕。

愿赐平安的上帝，就是那位凭着立永恒之约的血使群羊的大牧人——我主耶稣从死里复活的上帝，

就像树墩上长出新的枝条，大卫的后裔中必有一人做王。

从前你们好像是迷路的羊，现在却归向了你们灵魂的牧人和监护者。

之后，以色列人将回心转意，寻求他们的上帝耶和华，归向他们的君王大卫。在末后的日子，他们将怀着敬畏的心归向耶和华，领受祂的恩惠。

我要派首领照顾他们，使他们不再担惊受怕，也不再有一人迷失。这是耶和华说的。”耶和华说：“看啊，时候将到，我要为大卫选立一个公义的苗裔，使他执掌王权。他必秉公行义，治国有方。在他掌权的日子，犹大必得拯救，以色列必国泰民安。他将被称为‘耶和华是我们的公义’。”

我耶稣差遣我的天使到众教会，向你们证明这些事。我是大卫的根，也是大卫的后裔，又是明亮的晨星。”

万军之耶和华说：“刀剑啊，醒来吧，要攻击我的牧人和同伴，要击打牧人，羊群将四散，我必出手攻击小羊。

智者的言语好像赶牛的刺棍，他们收集的箴言像钉稳的钉子一样牢靠，都是一位牧者所赐的。
