I made the nations tremble at the sound of its fall when I brought it down to the realm of the dead to be with those who go down to the pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, the well- watered trees, were consoled in the earth below.

I brought the cedar tree down to the place of the dead. It joined the other nations that go down there. I made the nations on earth shake because of the sound of its fall. Then all the trees of Eden were comforted in the earth below. That included the finest and best trees in Lebanon. And it included all the trees that received plenty of water.

I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit. And all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the world below.

I made the nations shake with fear at the sound of its fall, for I sent it down to the grave with all the others who descend to the pit. And all the other proud trees of Eden, the most beautiful and the best of Lebanon, the ones whose roots went deep into the water, took comfort to find it there with them in the depths of the earth.

今爾下陰府幽冥之所、

主耶和華告推羅曰、爾之城垣傾圮、被傷者號呼、居民見殺、洲島聞之、豈不震動。

利巴嫩之柏香木松木、交相慶曰、自巴比倫傾圮、無人斬伐、

辨水道之人、大聲號呼、震動邑郊。

枝葉向榮、葱蒨可悅、我使之然、上帝囿中諸木、亦嫉其高、

昔爾強奪利巴嫩之木、殺人強據、害諸邑民、故必遘禍、若獸被執不勝觳觫、

亦將鼓盪列邦、列邦之企慕者將至、我將以榮光充盈殿宇、萬有之主耶和華已言之矣。

當時、地大震、城圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘盡驚駭、讚美天上上帝、

人子、當言未來事、曰、埃及眾庶、與諸名邦、必遭敗北、下窀穸、入陰府、爾當為之作哀歌曰、爾與不潔者流、同歸陵塚、則爾昔日婉孌超群、卒安在哉、異邦之民、已亡於刃、埃及眾庶、以蹈利刃、曳至窀穸、強悍之輩、不潔之民、亡於鋒刃、俱下陰府、見埃及王及助之者、亦至於斯、必與之言、在彼有亞述及其眾旅、俱亡以刃、下窀穸、入陰府、埃及眾庶素使人恐懼、今亡以刃、偃仆於側。

當時其聞震地、今且曰於後、吾不第震地、又必震天、如是言之、震者、皆受造之物必廢、而不震者恆存、

惟彼敵國、壯士之干、則塗以朱、武天之衣、其色維絳、戰鬥之日、車輪曳刃、閃爍若火、其戈大若松株、信手揮擊、

使天下林木、植於水旁、勿誇其株高幹偉、枝葉蓁蓁、喬木森然、終必枯萎、偃於下土、與人之歸墓無異、

如其邑尚有遺民、所留子女必遭俘囚、至爾同擄之所、使爾見其所為、知我降災於耶路撒冷、而怨心悉平、

城垣既破、邑門既啟、敵人驟入、萬馬奔騰、塵埃蔽邑、乘者號呼、車輪轟轟、宮室震動。

天下諸王、素與巴比倫行淫、專事華靡、見厥火炎炎、必哭之哀、懼害及身、遙立云巴比倫大邑、素稱鞏固、一時刑至、哀哉、天下商旅、苦無貿易、故哭之哀、所貿易者、金銀、寶石、珠璣、細布、絲縷、紫絳、染料、杜松、象牙、佳木、銅鐵白石諸器、亦有肉桂、香品、香膏、乳香、酒油、粉麥、牛羊、車馬、奴僕、向所嗜果實安在、珍奇華彩無存、不可復得、諸商旅因以富饒、懼害及身、遙立哀哭云、大邑素衣細布紫絳、飾金玉珠璣、頃刻間、富有遂至貧乏、嗚呼哀哉、各舟長舟子、與附載之人、及航海商旅遙立、見厥火炎炎、呼曰、誰能與大邑比儗乎、以塵埃蒙首、哀哭呼曰、大邑以厥珍寶、使操舟於海者富裕、頃刻間、已至貧乏、嗚呼哀哉、天歟、聖使徒及先知、可欣喜、以巴比倫罪爾、而上帝亦罪巴比倫故也、有能天使舉大石如磨、投於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、當猝然傾圮、不復得見、有如此石、鼓琴作樂、品簫吹角之音、不復聞於爾間、百工不復居於爾間、磨聲不再聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新娶者、與新婦之語、不復聞於爾間、爾商旅乃世上大夫、萬國以爾巫術迷惑、先知聖徒、與天下見殺者之血、於巴比倫見之、

埃及王譬諸柏香木、森然高大、欣然向榮、堪與埃田木頡頏、必遭斬伐、下幽冥之所、與眾木無異、王必亡於刃、與不潔者同科、王即法老、王及眾庶、受災如此、我耶和華已言之矣。
