They too, like the great cedar, had gone down to the realm of the dead, to those killed by the sword, along with the armed men who lived in its shade among the nations.

Others also went down along with the cedar tree into the place of the dead. They included those who had been killed by swords. They also included the armed men among the nations who lived in its shade.

They also went down to Sheol with it, to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were its arm, who lived under its shadow among the nations.

Its allies, too, were all destroyed and had passed away. They had gone down to the grave— all those nations that had lived in its shade.

They too descended with it to Sheol, to those slain by the sword. As its allies they had lived in its shade among the nations.

飛鳥結巢於其枝、走獸生產於其蔭、大國之民、居於下、亦受其庇。

異邦之民、不敬上帝、為惡之徒必歸暗府兮、

試觀亞述王、若利巴嫩之柏香木、其枝葱蒨、其幹扶疏、其杪高不可及、

其次利未人、巴尼子哩宏修葺。其次治理枝拉之半者、哈沙庇修葺、近其所居之地。其次治理枝拉之半者、希拿達子巴歪修葺。哈沙庇其宗人也。

生長堅剛、高凌霄漢、天下之人、皆得仰而見之、其葉蓁蓁、厥果纍纍、百物得而果腹、野獸伏於其蔭、飛鳥巢於其枝、

異邦之民、已亡於刃、埃及眾庶、以蹈利刃、曳至窀穸、強悍之輩、不潔之民、亡於鋒刃、俱下陰府、見埃及王及助之者、亦至於斯、必與之言、在彼有亞述及其眾旅、俱亡以刃、下窀穸、入陰府、埃及眾庶素使人恐懼、今亡以刃、偃仆於側。

耶和華曰、必折埃及驕泰之心、自蜜奪至敘以尼、俱亡以刃、助埃及者亦必敗北、我耶和華已言之矣。列邦諸邑、俱至荒蕪、埃及與助之者亦然。我燃火於埃及、凡助之者、既被殲滅、則知我乃耶和華。

人子、我已折埃及王法老之肱、不裹其傷。不敷以藥、不纏以布、使彼力廢、難執利刃。主耶和華曰、我必降災於埃及王法老、昔折一肱、其一尚健今並折之、使刃墮地、我必使埃及之人、散處異邦列國、使巴比倫王膂力剛強、俾執我刃、折法老二肱使其嘆息於敵前、若人被重傷、而嘆息焉。我必使巴比倫王手、其力倍加、使法老手不勝疲倦、既以我刀、畀巴比倫王、使擊埃及、則知我乃耶和華。

耶和華所沐以膏、我所賴以得生、至異邦中、望其庇蔭者、今陷於坎阱兮。

陰府震動、待爾速下、幽冥之眾、莫不騷然、昔居民上、為國之王者、見爾臨格、離座而起、

既播即發、大於諸蔬、生枝而長、飛鳥棲其蔭、○
