如是、必止淫行於斯土、以訓眾女、不效爾之行淫、

使斯土之人不染淫風、俾眾女不效爾尤、

如是我於斯地除諸邪淫、使眾婦受警戒、不效爾曹行淫、

“ So I will put an end to lewdness in the land, that all women may take warning and not imitate you.

“ So I will put an end to impurity in the land. Then all its women will be warned. They will not want to be like the sisters.

Thus will I put an end to lewdness in the land, that all women may take warning and not commit lewdness as you have done.

In this way, I will put an end to lewdness and idolatry in the land, and my judgment will be a warning to all women not to follow your wicked example.

So I will put an end to depravity in the land, and all the women will be admonished not to imitate your depraved behavior.

So I will eliminate outrageous conduct from the land, so that all women will take warning and not commit outrageous sin as you have done.

Thus I will cause lewdness to cease from the land, that all women may be taught not to practice your lewdness.

So I will put an end to indecency in the land, and all the women will be admonished not to imitate your indecent behavior.

上帝既叫所多瑪蛾摩拉城燒成灰燼，判歸傾覆，立做後來行不虔事之人的借鑑，

這樣，我就要以怒氣以烈怒、以烈怒的責打向你施判罰，那時你就在你四圍的列國中成了令人羞辱、令人毁謗、令人警戒、驚駭的對象：這是我永恆主說的。

這些事做了我們的鑑戒，是要使我們不做貪婪惡事的人，像他們那樣貪婪。你們也不要做拜偶像的，像他們有人、如經上所記『人民坐下喫喝，起來遊戲』那樣。我們也不要淫亂，像他們有人淫亂，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人！我們也不要故意試探主，像他們有人試探了，就被蛇所滅。你們也不要唧唧咕咕地埋怨，像他們有人唧咕埋怨了，就被毁滅者所滅。他們所遭遇的這些事都有象徵性；記載下來是要警戒我們、我們這些萬世之終局所達到的人。

我必用清水灑洗你們，你們就潔淨、沒有任何污穢；我必潔淨你們、除掉你們一切的偶像。

你們無論住在甚麼地方，城市必變為荒場，邱壇必淒涼，以致你們的祭壇荒廢淒涼，你們的偶像被打破被毁壞，你們的香壇被砍下，你們製做的偶像被掃滅。

我要使你分散在列國，將你四散在列邦；我要從你中間消滅你的污穢。

我必剪滅你國中的城市，翻毁你一切的堡壘；我必從你手中剪除邪術，你那裏就不再有算命的；我必從你中間剪除你的雕像和崇拜柱子，你就不再敬拜你自己的手所造的；我必從你中間拔出你的亞舍拉神木，掃滅你各種的偶像。

這樣、全以色列聽見，就會懼怕，再也不會在你中間行這樣的惡了。
