“ This is what the Lord GOD says: Summon an assembly against them and consign them to terror and plunder.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Bring a mob against them and give them over to terror and plunder.

The Lord and King says,“ Bring an angry crowd against the sisters. Hand them over to those who will terrify them and steal everything they have.

For thus says the Lord God:“ Bring up a vast host against them, and make them an object of terror and a plunder.

“ Now this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Bring an army against them and hand them over to be terrorized and plundered.

“ For this is what the Lord God says:‘ Bring up a contingent against them and turn them over to terror and plunder.

“ For thus says the Lord GOD:‘ Bring up an assembly against them, give them up to trouble and plunder.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will bring up a company against them, and will give them to be tossed to and fro and robbed.

“ This is what the Lord God says: Summon an assembly against them and consign them to terror and plunder.

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

“ For this is what the sovereign LORD says: Bring up an army against them and subject them to terror and plunder.

“ For the Lord Yahweh says:‘ I will bring up a mob against them, and will give them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.

They will bring a mob against you to stone you and to cut you to pieces with their swords.

I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth because of Manasseh son of Hezekiah, the king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem.

I will make them an object of horror and a disaster to all the kingdoms of the earth, an example for disgrace, scorn, ridicule, and cursing, wherever I have banished them.

“ Therefore, Oholibah, this is what the Lord GOD says: I am going to incite your lovers against you, those you turned away from in disgust. I will bring them against you from every side:the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans; Pekod, Shoa, and Koa; and all the Assyrians with them— desirable young men, all of them governors and prefects, officers and administrators, all of them riding on steeds.They will come against you with an assembly of peoples and with weapons, chariots, and wagons. They will set themselves against you on every side with large and small shields and helmets. I will delegate judgment to them, and they will judge you by their own standards.When I vent my jealous fury on you, they will deal with you in wrath. They will cut off your nose and ears, and the rest of you will fall by the sword. They will seize your sons and daughters, and the rest of you will be consumed by fire.They will strip off your clothes and take your beautiful jewelry.

I am going to send for all the families of the north’— this is the LORD’s declaration—‘ and send for my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and I will bring them against this land, against its residents, and against all these surrounding nations, and I will completely destroy them and make them an example of horror and scorn, and ruins forever.

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says: You have not obeyed me by proclaiming freedom, each for his fellow Hebrew and for his neighbor. I hereby proclaim freedom for you— this is the LORD’s declaration— to the sword, to plague, and to famine! I will make you a horror to all the earth’s kingdoms.
