The Lord is our God, the Lord is one!And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.You shall also tie them as a sign to your hand, and they shall be as frontlets on your forehead.

And that they might keep His statutes And comply with His laws; Praise the Lord!

For they will turn your sons away from following Me, and they will serve other gods; then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you and He will quickly destroy you.But this is what you shall do to them: you shall tear down their altars, smash their memorial stones, cut their Asherim to pieces, and burn their carved images in the fire.For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His personal possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

The Law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much pure gold; Sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.Moreover, Your servant is warned by them; In keeping them there is great reward.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people,instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner in the present age,looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.

so that they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.

Then You came down on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven; You gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments.So You made known to them Your holy Sabbath, And gave them commandments, statutes, and law, Through Your servant Moses.

And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.

“ And My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd; and they will walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes and follow them.

Now Moses summoned all Israel and said to them:“ Listen, Israel, to the statutes and ordinances which I am speaking today for you to hear, so that you may learn them and be careful to do them.
